Whatcha Cookin?

Well as I said, I’m doing that lobster mac and cheese for my wife’s birthday, as well as some Alaskan King Crab. Problem is, I’m afraid to let the seafood continue to sit in the fridge an extra couple of days, so while her birthday is Sunday, I’m doing the cook tomorrow. Will have to snap some photos. I’m looking forward to this one.

As promised. The pictures do this no justice. It doesn’t look appetizing to me in the least. But it looked great in person. Everything turned out amazing. Sam’s lobster mac n cheese recipe is the bomb. King crab legs were perfect, and I split the extra lobster tail and cooked it outside on the grill. All good things!!

This is what’s up today…

I did everything except I used butter rather than mayo for the grilling part. I’ve tried mayo but it’s not as good.

Sandwich is very tasty. Spicy and satisfying. But it’s not something I’d make very often. We had it with Elote on the side.

Luuuunch
2 slices of Focaccia
Honey mustard glazed pulled pork leftovers + shredded white crab
4 cheese mix Red Leicester, Double Gloucester, Mature Cheddar, Mozzarella

Grilled till the cheese is properly dead and black pepper to serve takes about 10 min to make and it’s really good :yum:

Never heard of it. But because I’m attracted visually to food, well your dish had my mouth watering. I found this video. You can probably tell if this is authentic, or even good, but damn if it doesn’t sound just amazing. The cinnamon and allspice, nutmeg, clove, garlic…it sounds tremendous.

very similar recipe to mine, I leave the cinnamon out as the kids dont like it. I do add some dried mint to the pasta once its cooked though. We also use cheddar cheese too.

I’ll bet that is incredible. This looks like a versatile combination. Oh, and I have visions of combining elements of this recipe with Shepherd’s Pie. OMG - comfort food on steroids.
