@Illogik now that I look at them (I have ZERO square bottles), I’m now thinking I could jam MO flavors onto my racks. Shit, now I gotta find a Square, PET bottle vendor !!!
Been on kick with nectarine and pears this week. Added a touch of macadamia nut to this one, which seems to fit.
It reminds me of the nut part of these. @woftam will know what I’m talking about Now to pull out the mangos and tweak the cream a bit. I wasn’t expecting it but I think it’s the right macadamia to play it’s part. Now to start chasing a white whale
Tried 5% Indulge (MB), 4% Blueberry (VSO), and 0.4% Root Beer (Flavorah) should be interesting. its degassing now. Happy New Years Eve. Anyone vaping Black Eyed Peas for the year turn for luck?
If I mix this in my 30 mil Boston rounds, I can put that in my USC. I mixed this one in a test tube and it’s plastic. My USC doesn’t care for those as much. So it’s just kind of sitting here for 12 to 24 hours.
Hi @Illogik If not using the GC Homogenizer, I would say mixing (no NIC yet) with the heated mag stirrer would blend better, cause of the viscosity improvement allowing the. In theory, a really good USC should cause the molecules to excite and join faster. I’m not convinced that either USC or heated mag stirrer will cause the flavor molecules to bond with the VG much quicker, though. But I don’t have a high end USC nor a heated mag stirrer, so its speculation and what I’ve heard/read.
The GC is a high shear mixer that uses cavitation and speed slamming the molecules into a fixed wall, emulsifying it quickly and at a 1 micron level. It sure seems to reduce the time to fully steep some recipes!
I’ve had a few (South African Tart coming to mind) that I used the GC on, that I didn’t like at all the first day or week, but came back to it months later to throw it out , and it was great. so, its tuff to quantify/qualify. Opinions expressed here are those of myself from actual side by side testing. Individual results may vary. I think my GC investment was well worth it, given the results I’ve seen first hand.
That being said…, with a 12"x15" tray filled with Boston Rounds and test tubes of recipes I’ve made, its really tough to decide what to vape next…and when I see a new recipe that looks amazing, I’m like a kid in a candy store, and spin it up.
I would obviously rather get myself a homogenizer but they are not cheap and my budget isn’t great right now. I wasn’t sure if it’s still possible to get a GC as when I searched the forums for info about it there was nothing recent at all, unless I missed something of course. Do you know if they are still available? Currently I’m just using a milk frother on a mix after leaving the bottle sit in hot water for a while to thin up the VG, then I’ve give it a good shake and put it away in a drawer.
Mmmm OK Rocky you have my attention!!! Cinnamon crunch and Vanilla Butternut. Yes please. Gotta give this a mix. Will it hurt if I leave out the Rich Cinnamon?
