I spent a month on South Island during their summer. It’s one of the prettiest places in the world, imo. And the people are ok, too.

I have been a carpenter for the past 25 years as my source of income and since the covid-19 outbreak decided to start a small business of my own working from home building custom pedal boards for guitar and bass players. So I started Lycan Customs pedal boards I have an online retail store on a website called REVERB It just fell In place being a musician myself for 35 years playing in bands since I was 15 years old Music is my passion…I did play professionally In a band back In 1990 but those days are foggy lol

A show In New York city I played bass for a band called “Wicked Sin” even though I’m technically a guitar player since the age of 12 It was a local band that was hot at the time and I wanted the gig and then the GRUNGE scene came along and we all know what happened to the music biz after that…

Well if you liked the landscape one day you gotta visit Chile. Some parts here remind me of my country. I think you will like it

I live in a stunning rural part of the country, and work on a free range egg/sheep/the odd cow/ farm.

I can’t link to actual images or embed them, but my fave four are all in this folder:

Our Highland lass, Meredith

This is the first lamb I’ve had to help into the world in a long time. Because she’s such a poser, @Letitia named her Hammy

And the frickin chickens

Where’s one eye? Please apologize to her for me, I can’t remember her name. Pretty sure it isn’t Escape Artist Extraordinaire.

It should be

She’s called Hawkeye (from MASH). As a pullet she was attacked by a hawk, and I didn’t think she’d survive. I kept her separate from the flock, and fed and watered her by hand for the first few days. After a few weeks, she was back to normal apart from a lack of feathers on her head. Once she rejoined the flock, she’d meet me at the gate and fly up into my arms - which was always funny when I wasn’t expecting it.

2 years on, she’s the only chicken out of 1500 that I like

I’m a Field Engineer for a company that makes equipment for electric, natural gas, and water utilities. The company I work for makes the equipment to read usage (smart meters) and control distribution of the power. I work on the RF network side of things so the meters and controllers can talk back to back office systems. What all this means is I’m on the road a lot. My current project is in Minnesota where it is colder than a witch’s tit wearing a brass bra.

My best job is being a grandpa to my first grand baby! He’s now 5 days old!
