SS is springy… I made some stainless steel alien wire, and tried wrapping it at 6 mm, for my Voltrove 41. I’m guessing it came out closer to 7 mm because I couldn’t keep it tight around the jig.

Yeah, that’s the thing I hate about it. NO BEST wire, as they’ve all got issues.

SS is springy but it is easily sorted.
- Cut a length of your ss wire then use a MAP torch or similar to heat it to just a dull glow of red
- Let it cool
- wrap your coil with no spring at all

Charln makes their coils, they are the best coils I have used to date whether that be for DL or MTL, he also can make custom coils not just the options available on the BVC website! For those with an Abyss Brent (BVC) makes some cool custom parts for that!
