I have (yet) another coil question.

Once a build is done and you know the ohm resistance, how do you find out the wattage that the build is capable of?

I ask as I don’t really want to blow my face off by pumping too many watts through a coil. Is it possible to blow shit up by doing that?

Definitely more flavour from the titan dual mesh deck than the supreme v3 dual coil build.

Thanks to our very kind forum overlord, Mr Grubster himself @Grubby , who sent me a bunch of goodies that arrived today, including a very good ohm reader and a bunch of coils amongst other things, I am now able to get a dual coil build going in my titan and see if the flavour is even better than the mesh deck.

So far:

You’d think I’d done this before

No hotspots or anything on the first fire up.

Well, build is done and vaping this at 101w and all I can say is, the flavour is phenomenal. Going from the Supreme v3 to this is like going from the tfv16 to the supreme, its THAT good.

@SessionDrummer If flavour is your thing, you need this setup asap.

While you’re here SD, what’s the pro’s and cons of building in parallel or series? All I know right now is that parallel splits the ohms between the 2 coils so these .3ohm coils are running in here at .15ohm, and the series build doubles it so they would run at .60ohms. Other than that is there any other difference or advantage/disadvantage to either type of build?

Net total resistance …

In parallel (halves) or reduces, in series (additive) adds.
