I cant speak to truth or not as I have not seen this at all, I don’t really watch the TV news - but it is not happening where I am (Victoria). The quarantine facility is to replace hotel quarantine for returning overseas travellers or people coming from what they call red zones in other states.
Our governments are hell bent on a 0 covid case count which is just not a feasible thing. These lockdowns are killing more people than covid would. It has gone from flattening the curve to eradication and the steps they are taking are over the top. We are currently in lock down again and every lock down the rules become more draconian Victoria currently has a curfew 9pm to 5am how this helps stop the spread is beyond me.
I am well past angry about the damage our premier is causing to people and their livelihoods with his catchcall “on health advice”
Based on modelling of how many lives have been saved due to lockdowns vs the cost to small and medium businesses (not big business because they are getting looked after by the gov) it has been estimated that each life saved has cost somewhere in the order of 300 million in lost income.
Hey everyone’s life is special and valued but $300,000,000 per life is a ridiculous cost to small and medium businesses and many are going to the wall as a result.
Yep, the UK is proof of this as nearly the entire adult population has had at least one jab and nearly 75% both yet we are recording infections and deaths at the same rate as back in March, they are increasing and i reckon the next wave this autumn will probably be more deadly than the previous waves because it will start from a higher infection and death rate than the others.
In some ways the vaccines are making it worse because you are quite right they do not stop people getting or spreading covid at all but because many will have mild conditions maybe even no symptoms’ at all and the lack of social distancing and lockdowns because of the vaccine roll out it will just freely spread!
Another worrying factor is there are people who have even had both doses of the vaccine that are still getting seriously ill and even dying! on top of that they are saying everyone will need booster jabs in the autumn when people have already had two jabs in the last 3 months which tells me the vaccine gives some people slight immunity which doesn’t last long, they need to seriously work on a fit for purpose vaccine because the ones we have at the moment is like trying to patch up a ripper victim with a sticky plaster!
Lost in ALL of this, is the fact that there are plentiful therapies, which are much less dangerous, and very effective in controlling the symptoms of this virus! Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, Monoclonal Antibodies, etc.

so much mistrust it’s hard to know what to believe and the best course of action, you also get those who are in countries that haven’t had it bad who are Covid deniers or just play down the seriousness. But if they lived somewhere like the UK where everybody knows people who have died from Covid and it’s devastating effects they would soon change their tune! When it first started in the UK we had loads saying it was no worse than the flu blah blah, i personally knew people with this attitude who went on to die of Covid so they didn’t even get the chance of hindsight to realise they were talking out their arse!
I hear what you’re saying, Tim, but the extent to which government’s are going, to get people injected, is throwing massive warning sign’s up for me, and many other’s. The ‘medicine’ , in many case’s, is turning out to be just as bad or worse than the disease.
I’m not denying that the virus exist’s, or even that it can kill…what concern’s me is the method that’s been adopted, nearly universally, to treat it, and all other option’s are being silenced! That make’s me ask question’s as to WHY!
