If we’re talking strictly pods, I’ve really had no issues. Seems to me, the flavors are better as the PG is higher thus it carries more flavor.
Mods on the other hand have caused me many a head ache. Number 1 of course, being leaking. It seems to leak from the air intake. I like a tight draw. I find myself hitting mods, OR pods like a joint. I know, it makes no sense, but I’m a DTL kinda guy and long habits die hard.
Haven’t smoked weed since my early 40’s. 30 years later Ca. legalized it, I grew some (Fascinating process, that…) and found out it was WAY more potent than what we got back in the day. That didn’t last long.
Alas, I digress. As usual.
I’ll be hitting my mod 'cuz I like chasing clouds some times, and even though I have had no problems with 3 or 4 tanks full, all of a sudden it’s leaking. I open the air intake and it stops. I take it apart (I hate draining a half full tank as it’s such a mess…) wipe off o-rings, the area where the air flows, everything and it stops! Whisky Tango Foxtrot?!
When I assemble it again, I make sure not to over tighten, but after heating and cooling all the time, it’s tight! Why the HELL, is it leaking in the first place? (I’ll read the article you linked and see if it says anything.)
THEN I have inconsistent battery drainage. I don’t know if it’s a smok issue or what, that’s the only brand they sell here in the valley of Ca., and I’ve only had 2. Per an article I read, one will get more mileage by charging batteries in a charger than the USB plug, but when both batteries are at 100%, soon one (Always the same one) will be down to 60% and the other will be 95!
I’ve tried different batteries, too??? It’s always battery “B”. I’ve reversed the batteries. Placed A in B and B in A with no change in the result. Battery B always drains fast. A will be down to 40% and B will be at 2%!
How do I fix it? I’ve tried every 4 letter word I know and the only thing I can say is take the mod apart, clean it and reassemble it.
But the o-ring is never wet. The only thing that’s wet is the chamber for the air flow!!!
