What e-liquid are you vaping today?

River Supply still has a bunch of MF flavors at 50%off, unfortunately Lemon is not one of the ones on sale, still worth checking out;

.
It is pricey, but a little goes a long way, the lemon you only need 1 drop per 10ml :ok_hand:

Wow, thanks for the heads up Rocky. I’ve purchased only one of their products, Wild Raspberry. Quality stuff

Indeed, funny thing is I mix a lot of Lemon vapes for myself and one of my buddies and I went the longest time Wishing I had the MF Lemon, a couple weeks ago I went thru my flavor concentrates and realized I DID have it  I need to get more organized and updated my flavor stash

Medicine Flower lemon is the shit! And you can taste plenty of lemon with 1 drop/30ml!! Also it gets stronger as it steeps.

I’ve only got just over 200 of them, and when I finally decided to get my shit together and get the pricing and amount on hand all in order, it took several hours. I did this on ATF…Since then, I found VC and have copied them here and now I’m all fucked up because I’ve been using both calculators! Only me,Rocky…only me.

I’m having a brain cramp here…I’m on your Lemon Crumble page and how do I save it to ‘my recipes’?

On the recipe page, with the recipe open, click on the recycle symbol.

Think I am going to Homogenize that base up without the mango, then put it in a liter oak barrel primed with bourbon I have. It has been waiting for something interesting, simple and fits the bill. If it turns out I’ll give all the credit to @SthrnMixer

Probably need to give credit to @WickedFog for any oak barrel related stuff. He’s the one I do believe with the oak barrel experience.

I have been doing the oak barrel thing for a few years, yes I know of @WickedFog. The blend is what intrigued me.

@whthek I don’t know if you DO or do NOT have any MF flavors, but if you DON’T be VERY careful. Once you buy that FIRST one, and particularly Lemon, you WILL probably buy more.

Don’t scoff at the price. I did, and now I have almost ALL of them. Medicine Flower flavors are Ultras (Ultra concentrated), and most if not all times, you will be using them at incredibly LOW usage rates, < 1.0%. Once you see how little you use, you’ll never worry about price again.

I had to tap the brakes on MF, otherwise it would be more an investment than flavor purchase. I think MF is the absolute top tier of flavors that are vapable. Problem is, the company is not a friendly one. Some of the flavors of theirs I find completely amazing are -

  • Vanilla. One of a kind. Beautiful, warm, rich and satisfying. I went with DIYFS Holy Vanilla instead.
  • Honeydew. I’ve not found a better one.
  • Wild Raspberry. Ditto.
  • Blackberry. So true to life it’s scary. Need a month steep but altogether fantastic.
  • Watermelon. Another steeper but like eating the real thing.
  • Red Apple. Probably the weakest of their offerings. Still, apple is a toughy, and most common among DIYers has to be Fuji from FA. This blows them all away. Has the taste of Washington State Red Delicious. No competition exists for this flavor. The only apple to even be near the same league is Country Apple from Purilum. Even at that, Country Apple is more of a cooked Granny Smith than a ripe apple flavor. But it’s authentic, something sorely missing among apple flavors.
  • Blueberry. Amazing.
  • Coconut. Another somewhat weak flavor. However, it’s a bit deceiving. Like lemon, it tends to strengthen with steep. But it’s a fairly delicate flavor, unlike TPA Coconut Extra which will overpower other flavors. MF Coconut will not do that. And if used properly, it’s in a class by itself. The prudent mixer will learn what marries well with this and what causes a diminishing return.
  • Caramel and Butterscotch. I put these two together because, while very, very good, they are really close in flavor. And neither of them really conveys what most people think of when thinking of butterscotch and caramel. That said, they are amazing flavors with richness rarely found in the flavors we use for DiY.
  • Grapefruit. I switched to FA Grapefruit due to a very similar flavor profile and usage percentage. FA has the more economical flavor and rivals MF here. But it’s still an awesome flavor, hence making the list.
  • Banana. Say goodbye to candy flavor here. Unlike most banana flavors, this one is super authentic. In fact, it’s the banana you’re about to throw out because the skin has started to get dark. It’s ripe, and sweet. Almost overripe. But in no way cloying or off-putting. This is a game changer if you like banana.

That’s really all I have for now. Most MF flavors are 0.2-0.5% usage which makes the price you pay for them not nearly as bad as the sticker shock would suggest.

With all that said, if you wanted to dip your toe into MF by buying just one flavor, Lemon has to be the one. It’s got depth and nuance that other flavor manufacturers simply cannot out do.

I’ll be around to chat more about this tomorrow. Sleep now. Thanks @SessionDrummer and @SthrnMixer for your thoughts :+1:t2:

@SthrnMixer has influenced a lot of my recipes

@BaqueshEmet I just ordered 3 more barrels for when I start mixing again. I have a couple recipes planned for two of them. Got any good ones to try in the third?

Most everything I have done has been preeminent alcoholic beverage flavor, the one that went over pretty well is

It is an in your face drink mix, was just going to try and head for a creamier dessert type treat with a hint of booze. Aging in the cask has developed a lot of interesting results as you are aware.

That looks right up my alley, and I have all those flavors. So I see you are storing bourbon in your barrel between mixes. I am doing that with one of my mixes using Wild Turkey’s American Honey. It is a butterscotch, bourbon, and tobacco recipe I made before I started using the barrel. Should be a good one.

That sounds good. I plan on this one next. It is my everyday vape for over a year now. Can not seem to get away from it. LOL…good luck
