the mocca coffee was only at 0.5% so not sure , but the whle thing just did not have a good texture or taste

One of my go to recipes was one of the FA Mints pushed to 5% and it tasted like chiclets, can’t remember which but was a nice change from the normal stuff I used to vape anyways.

Looking at the price it looks like that packet has been around many years, we do have flavoured gum just not that brand.
Well, I don’t know if it’s even around anymore but the spearmint was the best damn tasting gum ever… There was a tropical version as pictured.
I’m also in the U.K. and I’ve never heard of them before now. I expect we have something similar by a different name and brand.
You wouldn’t catch brits drinking root beer or eating peanut butter with jam! And the US have a nerve to ban offal, someone hasn’t lived until they have tried a Steak & Kidney Pie or Liver Bacon & Onions!

Those are both rather mild compared to 's, where we also eat tripe - lining of the cows belly, oxtail - tail of a neutered bull, and cow foot - the gelatin found on cows foot. Fish head soup, and goat head and feet (Manish water) as a soup
I am pretty sure I have heard that the Scottish can’t get Haggis in the US or import them because offal was banned, I might be wrong! As for Kidney and especially Liver it’s actually the gravy it produces which is so tasty. I actually know someone who hates Liver but cooks Liver and onion, discards the Liver and uses the onion gravy on his roast dinner! We have Oxtail Soup out of the hocus pocus you mentioned, the rest sounds like it should all be put in a cauldron along with a tasty looking human, lol!
I have always been mythed about why Root Beer is loved so much in America yet other countries are not queuing up to import it, I have never seen it in the UK ever. I have no issues with Peanut butter sandwiches or Jam (jelly) sandwiches but mixing the two, I think puke sandwiches sound nicer.
The gravy was great and I really liked the taste of kidney. My wife refuses to cook anything that’s brown before cooking, so I’ve had to order liver in a restaurant.
The filipino’s make a dish with oxtail and peanut butter but I can’t remember the name.
I like PB, Jam and a slice of processed cheese in it. Damn, wife also refuses to put the cheese in.
Believe it or not that is what I had for my tea tonight and it was bloody lovely.
I descend from a very traditional English family and many of the women were trained cooks that worked in the industry so I grew up trying all sorts of food with offal being served quite often.
My Nan used to love tripe and onions simmered in milk and I tried it but it had a weird perfumey taste. Cow heel or cow’s foot jelly is another dish that is still popular today in parts of northern England and I love nothing more than a good roasted haggis with a wee dram on Burns night or any other night come to that. My mother used to cook braised stuffed hearts wether it be pigs, sheep or bullocks which was really nice and my Nan used to cook fried chitlins which are pigs intestines and she loved them. My other Nan used to often buy a pigs head and make brawn which is great in a sandwich with some hot English mustard. I think a lot of it comes from the days when money was scarce and people couldn’t afford the fancy cuts of meat so had to find a way to make tasty meals from what they could afford and people grew accustomed to it, since then it’s has been carried on through the generations. As you can gather I am not afraid to try different things but I have tried root beer in America and hated it because of that weird wintergreen off note or whatever it is and for my English palette peanut butter with jam just isn’t done but each to their own.
