What are you watching? (TV, movies, streaming)

Love that show  I am moving in that direction myself business wise :+1:t2:

Very rarely will I rewatch something but this i am. It is probably one of the best, most underrated shows of its genre I have EVER seen.

WOW. Having blown through everything good on Netflix and Amazon, was struggling to find anything worth watching, but we DID.

OUTSTANDING SyFy-ish-ness to this one. Completely unexpectedly good.

Dark, gritty, moody, and that’s JUST to get it started. Very unexpected twist (early on) that sets up the entire movie premise. Not unbelievable, and very unique. Great acting, casting, and writing.

Innocent Files on Netflix!

I started watching Shadow and Bone on Netflix. Seemed to be dragging and my wife left the room at about 25 minutes in. Then at 29 mins it started to kick in. I stopped it so she could get back to it with me. Looks like that will have to be tomorrow. But it looks just like something we’ll love.

My wife, turned this one on, and now she can’t stop watching …

Never having been to Australia, I kept wondering what the green inhaler was that they kept giving to people. Well, you learn something EVERY day…

Green whistles are awesome as long as you are inhaling through them they give pain relief - the only issue with them is you have to do some pretty good damage to get given one so that makes them a little less awesome.

Just powerwatched season 1 of The Manifest, on Netflix. Looks like it’s being canceled after S3. Sci-Fi isn’t my first choice of genre, but I’m sufficiently hooked now, to continue watching. I go months at a time without watching TV, at all.

Take Shelter looks like a good one! Thanks @SessionDrummer !

@whthek yeah, Manifest is really good. A few twists and turns early on, then the slow burn starts to step up. Very interesting idea/concept. Glad you like(d) it, and you’re welcome.

Take shelter may not be for everyone, as it’s a slow burner, tension building kind of a movie. Again, I felt the concept was very interesting, new, and even with the intentional slow burn, kept us engaged.

I started watching this when it first aired. At the end of Season 1, I felt there was this eerily similar “Lost” vibe going…and we all know what a let down that conclusion turned out to be. So I stopped watching manifest after the first season. Maybe I should finish the series…especially since Netflix picked it up and there won’t be commercials.

I still watch all the new episodes, and even some of the old, of Ridiculousness. I know, it’s a hotbed of stupidity that MTV this is the only show on there I watch, but I just love watching idiots do idiot stuff. In fact I think that’s why we have idiots in the first place. For our amusement. Problem is I have to DVR it so I can skip through the commercials. They got some wack commercial breaks.

For me in the late 80’s early 90’s the introduction of satellite TV to the UK with MTV being the flagship channel and Rock Music being at it’s most popular was the Perfect Storm!

Very interesting concept, and only got slightly flaky at the end. Still worth a watch.
