We have another one that has even more paint on her, but she’s so grey, it blends in. But you can FEEL it! Our groomer makes house calls. Their getting shaved tomorrow.
We make the hair cuts short this time of year. Something about El Nino? They’re predicting record breaking temps this summer in an already hot central valley California. Should be a long summer of 110 degree plus F.

This is Gustavo (Fring). We had a raised garden behind our detached garage, but we can’t get around well enough to do anything with it. The kid that mows our lawn left the gate open to that side of the yard.

Let’s just say he doesn’t like his brush anymore. It was NOT easy. His fur is SO wiry.
Couldn’t get it all out, either. Ours is a mobile groomer we’ve been using for 4 years. Sent her a photo and she was here the next day to give both dogs a shave.
This is Sybil. Named thus because she has so much personality. She’s dumb enough to learn tricks that are unwise to teach a dog. Get daddy’s nose, Sybil. Get daddy’s nose.
Gently she goes. She whines before she nibbles, like she knows there something wrong with that.
We rescued her from a Chihuahua she was boarding with. Wife says she’s a good dog. I say she’s a chihuahua.

@PaulyWalnuts well Sybil looks very smart with her new hair-do. I am relieved to hear that she has the sense to be gentle with your nose when given “that” command
