Orange Creamsicle - Community Collaboration

Well even at the above weight, and fresh mixed, the orange is sitting on the top, so I’m going to half it, mix again, steep it and see. The profile(s) seem right on track though.

FA’s RO is quite good, have used it, but never solo’d it. Roger your 4d per60ml above, and will adjust.

Still trying to get the hang of this forum. Ive never tried the Juicy orange, but have Shisha and Royal, Blood, cream, and Mandarin.
Experienceing the Orange Creamsicle for me was like a rich creamy sweet ice cream blended, almost, with perhaps “Tang” as the front note. Not sure why it works , but it works in this delicious dessert bar.

That being said- having yet to mix anything with Royal Orange, it is a nice authentic Florida/California orange flavor. Very accurate profile for that. unsure if this will be the model for a reworked and improved Ice cream bar. Im curious if the recipe created for this juice would fare well in a double blind test with a real bar.
Cant wait to hear

Alright. I had mixed the RM 3 and the version of SmokyBlue 's without the citrus, which are sitting at 3 weeks. vaped them last night. The Orange for RM 3 is an orange tasting orange, but, it seems, the Ice cream bar, was more of a Tang or Julius flavor, if I were to put it into words. My SFT Atty is the recoil with 3core SS Clapton single coil @45w, but its waiting for O-Rings from China, after a thorough cleaning in my sonic bath… be a few weeks till its back in service. So cool the number of people working on this! Thanks, all, who have stepped up to the challenge!

The Version without the Soda, at nearly a month tastes really really nice. A touch more creamy vanilla Icecream on the inhale and to improve the mouthfeel would be where I will try next. Very good!

Watching this- I dont have the Tang yet. Tangy Orange Drink-VT is now on my shopping list(but not today) Waiting for the results.

Just had a read through of this, I don’t even know if this is worth mentoning, but I used to make a fresh orangeade for someone a few years back ad I used Ecto Cooler by FW, because nothing else at the time tasted quite so much like fresh orange, might help might not :man_shrugging:

Just wanted to say thx Robert for this great thread (and big thx to all guys who were contributing; so many great new ideas, thoughts and knowledge shared)! Orange anything is certainly not my fav profile, but this thread forced me to play and work in this direction once again.

It wouldn’t be bad if this kind of Community Collaboration threads would appear once or twice per month (but not more!), but since i’m still a rookie here, i .

That’s a killer idea. One I had on another forum in March 2015. It didn’t get any traction. But I figure now there are far more people who take interest in other people’s knowledge that threads like this would be successful.

As for my personal update - I did get and try the Royal Orange. Nope, wrong profile. Among the orange flavors I’ve tried thus far, the Shisha Orange has been closest for me. Admittedly I haven’t worked on this project for a little while but next attempt will be 1/2 the usage of Shisha Orange as the previous one. I’m lazy lately so don’t expect any update real soon.

I have to agree with you @SthrnMixer the damned, strong as hell Shisha Orange DOES fit the best. The Tang actually wasn’t half bad either. I think I’m going to cut my Shisha Orange to 50%, to see if that will set it in better in my smaller testers.

Well my version 3 was only 0.1% of the Shisha Orange so next will be 0.05%. Around 1 drop per 30ml. That’s Rich Cinnamon strong. Will advise once done.

Hehe, roger that. My Rm-8, I only used 1 drop (10ml) and it still blew it up like an Orange Grenade. Tasty, but off target.

I gotta pick that up. but I doubt Id use it in anything other than Orange Creamsickle
And the Shisha Orange at ultra low percentages… one of those could possibly do the Orange profile best, the cool creamy smooth vanilla Ice cream/custard side, Ive not been so convinced yet…I m gonna SFT some Vanilla bean Gelato again, cause -I can?

Heated and spun up the 15ml at 6% and I couldnt resist adding a drop of the suggested Shisha Orange. Ill probably be disappointed but… let’s see

edit: not bad. added a few drops of Cream Milky Undertones next.

I must agree with all of this. Only got the tang last week but oh boy it’s a nice pairing with the Shisha
I turned my attempt into more of a orange drink, on the syrupy side with a hint of cream. The Golden eye helped with the syrup it changed a fair degree with that small amount.

Missing that one and Tang, and Creaming Soda… not how I love to start my week… :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

@Tmease I think the Golden Eye is under rated, one of my favourite mangoes. The Creaming Soda I use a lot in candy mixes for a touch of vanilla and it worked well in this with the Tang.
Thanks for reminding me about this mix, I’d put it to the side when I mixed too much the other week.
