I would at least give VT or DV turkish delight a shot as suggested too.

Not sure if that’s a back handed criticism of my creation lol! I can’t get the VT Turkish Delight anyway in the UK and looking at the DV at that price and mixing percentage i don’t see the point. I DIY to create flavours myself and to reduce costs if i was to buy one shots like the DV Turkish Delight i might as well just buy commercial juice!

I will keep testing both versions but will steep a good while before any further adjustments! Trying them fresh both are not bad and if i was to guess at what might need adjusting (can only be certain after steeping) is the Rose percentage! My initial concern especially using the FLV Rose Essence was i might have gone too strong but if anything it might need an higher percentage which surprises me!

There is no way you will have to use the DV at a super high % - sorry i have not had time to test the TD from them (bit busy with the fundraiser) but never have Ii ever had to use any of the DV at the quoted %

I was too scared to up the Rose anymore than this, see how it turns out from here. The raspberry from the Red Soft Candy is coming through more than I thought it would initially.
It’s nice, just not sure it’s turkish delight just yet.

Yeah, same as both my 2 versions taste good and can only get better but not really getting the rose coming through as i wanted, time might solve that! The Red candy in yours reminds me i still have the 27 Fish up my sleeve if i feel it would be better swapped out for one of the candies i have used. Will be interesting to see how your use of frosting turns out, nver even considered that but could be a dark horse !

I never took the Rose Essence flv over 1% as to me, it just gets annoying in my nose.
Like I sniffed a bunch of rose petals. That’s just me, you might want to take it to 3%… 
it’s also what you are vaping it out of too… I have a super loose mtl, using the Nano, SXMini… solo
I have a few recipes with it, including my own versions of td…

After just 4 days of steeping both TD versions are now much more like it! Texture is good, the sugar coating is spot on and really nice if slightly mellow flavour. The Rose has come through more now so just a waiting game to see if it needs a slightly higher Rose %! Thanks for everyone’s suggestions during this thread!

Not known e-liquids to change so much after a fortnights steep as my two versions of Turkish Delight! After 4 days both started to get the Turkish Delight texture and the Rose started coming through without it having a perfumed taste so using some Rose Candy instead of all essence worked but i still felt i might end up needing to up the Rose slightly!
After another 10 days steeping both versions are 100% Turkish Delight, just the correct Rose strength, correct texture and even the powdered sugar comes through nicely just a dilemma over whether version 1 or version 2 is best, a very close call!
Quite proud of myself because i did once try a Turkish Delight commercial juice about 5 years back that was like about £20 for a 60ml bottle and mine is miles better!!!
