Welcome, and thanks for not smoking! I assume…
There is a forum where you can in fact, post discount codes, etc. but I think you have to have the mods permission as there are rules, to follow. Please check out the “Rules and Regulations” here.
Just this past June we went live with a site called The Vape Workshop.
I asked for and was granted permission to brag about it here as the UK and South Africa are close friends and we want to promote DIY there.
A friend of mine, @OldGoat whom I call EGO (Always, all caps) is in South Africa. I’m in California, but I have yet to make a decent vape juice. I’m the admin. EGO is very well known and respected there for flavor and hardware reviews and was recently the ambassador of the The World Vape Show in Johannesburg, South Africa.
While we made the DIY recipe builder from this site available on ours (Again with their permission) there are several key differences between our site and others. Our priority is to promote the idea of “Quit smoking by vaping SAFELY!” Key word being safe.
Besides the usual ask and receive answers, get and give advice, EGO posts reviews. They do reviews here to, but you should see how it’s done at TVWS. EGO makes me come up with the cartoons representing flavors.
Another HUGE difference is our blog. That’s where vaping safely lives. e.g. Do you know what’s in that bottle you bought over the counter at your local vape shop? Even Google’s not so sure. WE know what’s in ours because we made it with 100% FDA approved products. Except for the nicotine. Dunno, but I doubt that’s approved.
However, we encourage vapers to wean themselves off the Nic.
Why the hell am I saying all this? First I hope to scrounge up some new members, but also we need folks like you to join. Those with experience and can offer advice. Make up dumb questions to ask. We love dumb questions. Because we love to teach.
We have a whopping 41 members. A handful are even active! Why so few members? Not enough content for search engines to find us worth mentioning.
It’s called Search Engine Optimization. They send out those little bots every day, to scour the web in search of busy activity. NO ONE is going to find us until we get far enough up in the rankings to hit the fist few pages in a search engine.
Question. Do you sell flavors, or hand crafted products? If not it’s probably not worth advertising there. Kinda defeats the purpose being we’re all about DIY. Oh wait! Do you sell cotton or coils, or RDA’s…etc? Those are fine. Just don’t be posting deals or coupons for the OTC vapes or disposables.
List WHERE you’re located so members might go into your store front. We do have members in the UK and one is even in Tokyo. Currently there is 1 member and 1,347 guests on the board. A lot of them are search engines, but by far the most are lookie lookies. Guests. I have one topic in the forum; Pauly’s been sipping scotch on his porch again, that has been viewed almost 9,450 times.
Uh, oh. I wonder if its my lame ass jokes that turn people away. Wouldn’t that suck? I retired in '08 and have nothing better to do than make up, or share jokes.
And why do I call him EGO? You’ll figure it out at first glance.
Dear @whthek . Is this within your attention span? Haven’t heard from you. Is all well in your world?
