Kirk, my two cents…I rarely, completely disassemble a tank after the initial cleanse. The tank assembly itself, just get’s a thorough flush under the faucet with lukewarm water. I keep canned air in stock as well, for drying where paper towels can’t reach. I mentioned ‘lukewarm’ water…I once had an o-ring jump out of it’s groove, on a Steam Crave tank, and didn’t notice until it leaked all over the place! Hot water caused metal expansion, and a route for an o-ring to ‘jump’ the track.
