My DelosiLabs Nic says it's 10%?

Bulk? I’ve been trying to make a decent 20 ml batch since January! My mama always told me I’d be a failure.

I’d try to measure out something like .69 and I’d get .81 or some crap. Everything I make is too harsh on my throat.

Then it dawned on my melting brain cells that I could just raise the VG in the recipe to match the nic.

I’ve been smoking swisher sweet cigars since Moses was in short pants. Like 8 a day. Google says, 1 swisher is worth 10 stinkies.

I started out making 6 mg nic. I knew nothing when I started. Learned a LOT since then. Tried fb and salts. My latest batch is from 1 to3.5 mg. 6 bottles.

Both @SessionDrummer and @OldGoat ponted checked out a lot of my recipes and said some are bound to be harsh based on the ingredients, and sometimes the brands. They’ve helped me make/adjust some recipes that have been steeping for about 3 weeks. I gonna let them steep for a good 8 weeks, this time around.

I like my sweet custard and candy. Whoppers, 3 Musketeers, Malt Shakes…

I’ll let you know how it goes in another 6 weeks or so.

I’m doing a RDA so I only have to change cotton rather that dump 8 ml of juice. Messy, too!

I also got some pods before I learned about RDA’s. Different ohms, watts, trying to learn the differences…etc.

I have plenty of replacement pods and wound up tossing them in the trash. Few weeks ago I found one that I hadn’t tossed, figured what the hell, and it’s smooth. No flavor, lesson learned. Steeping matters.

Thanks for the input!

Shit dude. At my age, I gotta sniff my crotch to see if I remembered to wipe my ass after taking a dump!

Oh, you probably meant the vaping…

You’ll be sorry you asked, 'ya know. Much as I hate typing, it seems I can’t stop. I’m world renowned for my short stories.

Started learning early January. Since then, I’ve gone through 4.3 Liters of VG/PG. Or if you’re in ‘Merica, that’s a gallon. I’m hoping ONE of the 15 - 30 ml bottles of juice I have steeping will not cause me to lose a lung. The last hit I took from my last batch cost me $8000 including an air ambulance ride to have it reinstalled.

At one point, in an attempt to learn, I bought 3 pods of differing ohms and watts. I also bought a bunch of spare pods. Mixing, sampling, mixing, sampling… The surgeon knows I am on a fixed income and taught me how to reattach my lungs myself.

I likes my candies and desserts. Let ‘em steep for a month they say. Month later, sample, staple the lungs in, another pod, staples, on and on… Different batch, on and on! Same damn thing! Well, it’s got nothing to do with Sherlock ohms and his side kick watts! More beatings from @SessionDrummer and EGO from @OldGoat Folks have been looking at my recipes and their saying, “DUDE! Yeah, it always looks good on paper, but you must research and ask questions at first”. Will one flavor work well with the next, will these flavors over power those?

Tossed the pods from 2 units, but for some reason not the third. Month ago, I found it and wondered… Smooth as a baby’s ass and delicious! That one steeped for at least 3 months. Guess I’ll continue the Cigars for a couple more months, but by God, I AINT gonna give up!

So, with a lot of help from EGO’s suggestions for modifications I now have 15 bottles steeping. Nic ranging from 6 and lowering by increments of .5mg with the last 3 @ 0mg. If I must start with 0 nic, I’ll use the patch.

Been smoking for 51 years excluding a gap of 17. Decade ago, I met a WWII vet at our mailbox cluster. Hit it off, he invited me over for a swisher sweet on his porch and swapped stories of our sordid lives and FILTHY jokes. Man was a sailor. Know what they say about cussing like a sailor? This man dropped the F bomb so often he could have been the boss of a Jersey City mob.

Over there every day. Twarnt long afore I was buying my own.

And THANKS for asking!!

HA! Just realized I pretty much already said all that!

Ah, well, I killed time.

Hint: It’s not a good idea to ask anyone over 50 how they’re doing. Unless you want to know the color of their shit. Or the last time they took one. A word for word conversation with a Doctor… Latest blood pressure…

Last one, 179 over 113! But there’s a great story/reason behind that one, while AT the hospital.

Well remember for podkits of a higher ohm you want to be using 50/50 vgpg ratio or higher Pg ideally no more than 70% of Pg , I wasn’t aware that you had the lung issues if this is the case where stability is a bit of an issue on its own, perhaps maybe something with a ”less restrictive draw” so aim around the 0.8 or the 0.6ohm Mark with full open airflow this still should be fine with 50/50 ratios,

I do want to say some dessert flavours can take months if it’s a decent quality, depending on the concentration your using could be an idea to use anywhere up to 30% concentrate which sounds high but for mouth to lung devices I know a lot of companies to do so.

For Direct lung RDAs if you’re having lung issues I’d recommend not going down this route because of the pure reason you’re going to be looking at more power which on par maybe a little bit over the top,

I recently noticed that! I had 3 pods used for testing flavors and learning about watts and ohms. Half dozen empty pods for each.

Made a 1/2 dozen 30ml bottles and let them steep of 4 weeks. PG/VG 50/50. Tried each flavor in each pod, various setting and airflow…etc. ALL too harsh. And I mean HARSH! Tiny mtl.

Tossed the juice and the pods and a few months later saw one I hadn’t tossed the pod out of. And I wondered. Smooth as a baby’s ass. Little light on the flavor, but pretty damn good!

I keep a document. Recipe number, recipe name, vg/pg ratios, nic%. Then I put a number on the corresponding bottle. Since I tosses all the bottles, I have no idea what was in the juice.

Not sure what you mean about the RDA. I got it so all I have to do is change the wick when testing a different flavor, and I can greatly increase or decrease the wattage. All my bottles are at 70/30 vg/pg.

I also bought a bunch of coils off Amazon. .36 flat twisted, .45 mixed twisted, alien clapton, clapton, 8 types in all, 6 coils each. I now have 20 bottles steeping and I plan to wait 3 months before testing. Made 07/30. 4 weeks to go!

My plan is to test each bottle at low, medium and high watts, change the air flow, change the types of coils (alien vs flat twisted…etc.) and the 3 ohms available for each type. They go from .36 to .85 ohms. I haven’t found any lower ohms. Yet.

If I continue with the RDA, what ohms should I be looking for?

The pod I’ve been sucking on (the one that’s gotta be 4 months steeping at least) is at 18 w, .6 ohms.

Huge shout out to @SessionDrummer and @OldGoat ! Tons of help. Old Goat (whom I call EGO) has gone through my recipes and made some suggestions and even told me of new recipes I could add.

I tell. 'ya, these guys should open their own forum. Oh, WAIT! We did! I asked @cloudycaptain if we could post about it here and he’s like, Hell, yeah! Let’s ramp things up in South Africa!

We’re less than 2 months old, but we have 10 members now… 3 are even active. EGO, Dman and myself.

Not much content but we’re working on it. Love to see 'ya there, we need all the content from people unlike me 'cuz I don’t know Jack Shit. I know his parents. Daddy is Dumb Shit and mom is Don’t give a Shit…
