Neck deep in canvas atm, WF… but I do play at night.
My neighbors hate me at times!

I don’t have a set up to show off. But if @SessionDrummer wants to send me a retired kit, I’ll happily take some photos. Tama, Pearl, Ludwig…I’m not that picky.

if you send it, I will play

 Seriously I’ve given some thought to drumming again. For some reason I’m interested in this

Hehe @SthrnMixer, nothing decommissioned yet, but I’ll keep you in mind. I have only played Rolands with the mesh heads.

I do own an original Alesis Quadrasynth, but that’s the end of my Alesis expertise.

I think no matter what e-kit you pick up, it’ll be the RIGHT thing to do.

Also, unless you’re going to be in ears only, don’t forget some boom boom…

Found these old pics of me and my old band the top picture we were all absolutely wrecked, how we made it through the gig is beyond me… apparently we even sounded good :joy: First and last time I let myself get that drunk before playing but we were headlining and got there well early and got a bit carried away :grimacing:

The one above is my USA strat, changed the pickguard back to white since that pic :+1:

I forgot I posted a picture of a recorder at the beginning of this thread.  I upgraded :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It started with the cornet and then I thought a flugelhorn would be cool :sunglasses: so got one of them as well. Somehow I got a keyboard as well, never played anything like that before and only 30 years since I played any brass.

Background painting done yesterday by my brother Andrew.

I’m a bit of a dickhead! @SessionDrummer  Trying to relearn an instrument from 30 yrs ago and a new one all at the same time. Like always my hands can’t keep up with my brain. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It also means I haven’t mixed and am topping up tanks with the dregs of bottles lying around. And of course my latest daily has MF in it.

A Cornet, I used to play Tenor Horn in my teens as my parents were Salvation Army (grandparents were Salvation Army Officers) so I had no choice but to also go, at least I learnt to read music which not everyone can do.

Quite funny really playing “Onward Christian Soldiers” then getting home and putting on my Kiss, AC/DC and Iron Maiden records!

I did get a strat imitation and cheap Sound City Amplifier but didn’t progress past just making a very loud noise!

I can thank the Salvation Army too (an uncle was an officer), surprisingly I can still read it, although not bass clef.
