I’m on the recipe side on 4 devices, shouldn’t be a problem
Ok it’s here… I’ve added it to the first post…
Grubby, you are the man.
I just realized we do not have Vanilla Swirl in there yet.
What do you guys think, Swirl = Y/N
Which manufacturer?
Sorry. TFA
@OldGoat , not trying to rain on the party here, but, we’ve already reached a total flavor percentage(13%) with just the first 4 concentrates. Higher total flavor does not necessarily yield more flavor. Personally, if we’re attempting a nice, clean Custard, I’d leave the IC’s out, all together. Perhaps adding some Flavorah product to this recipe(think lower % equals same flavor output). Also, the star of the show is Vanilla Custard-CAP…the rest of the additives should support/boost that profile, not vie for the front row seat.
A few idea’s…
Vanilla Pudding-FLV
Vanilla Bean-FLV
Smooth Vanilla-FLV
Vanilla Custard-FLV
Popcorn-FLV(Buttery note)
Sweet Coconut-FLV(Mouthfeel)
And, some say that Yes, We Cheesecake-INW(as a thickener) has a coconut note, which may, or may not add to the mouthfeel, as @woftam suggest’s above, in this thread.
I’ll just add that percentages on the recipe are just placeholders
You see this! This right here! This is why I love this community.
@whthek, you’ve got a really valid point. We definitely need to figure out what we want from this custard, and it’s clear you’re speaking from experience.
That said, we’re still in the brainstorming phase right now. It’s like when you’re planning a wedding and trying to decide who to invite—the list just keeps getting longer. Later, we’ll narrow it down and cut out all those distant relatives we haven’t seen in decades.
For now, we just need to throw some ideas into the mix and see what sticks. Eventually, we’ll edit, remove, and tweak whatever doesn’t work.
We might start off with something wild, like 167% total flavor ( ), but from that glorious mess, we’ll find that glimmer of sunshine that turns into the ultimate custard.
Popcorn you say…
I can see that work. I used popcorn in a peanut butter recipe a while ago and I was surprised how versatile it is. I like this idea.
I should have thought of that, @Grubby
Duly noted!
What are we doing here?
@OldGoat seems to have gone silent
Sorry gents. I’m out in deep dark Africa again.
No worries, safe journey
Has anyone tried Warm Custard VT? I’m thinking of getting a 10ml when I het back home.
Hmm…pick it up, @OldGoat . I’ve not heard of it. Don’t see much of anything written about here, either.
