The reason I did this video was because a while back I got a true cinema camera. Entry level bmpcc 4k. I don’t have any projects going at present so I thought I pick up a mod and do a review to put the camera through some paces. I’m glad you like the look. I’m really enjoying it as well.
Second “got ya”… I can’t figure out how to put the thing into bypass. I’ve mucked around in escribe and there is nothing I can find that will accomplish that. Can’t find anything on the net either. I’ll try to write Evolve a note and see if they answer.

AFAIK there is no bypass at all. #ever. On any of their boards. I hope you’re running the latest firmware which is SP45.1 as seen in the bottom right hand corner of Device Monitor.
What a great reason to pick up a mod … for testing sake.

That too. I do love running a mod through testing. This is a rare one. 95% of mods do not perform as the manufacturer claims.
You are probably right about the bypass mode. That would be a ding on Evolve/Lost Vape per a false claim.

There actually is a forum where everything DNA is covered accurately. The search there works as well. I hear one of their moderators can be a jerk . New themes as well if you want change the look and feel of your mod.

EVERYONE, check your default Youtube resolution. It pooped out 360p by default for me. Kick UP the resolution, to really be able to appreciate, and enjoy it, the way Walt intended it.

I don’t know this, but I did notice that in escribe the “preheat” checkbox is checked. Could this be some kind of preheat to assist in making the vape accurate?

Preheat is only for TC vaping. The watts set there are the maximum that wiil be used (and should be higher than the set watts). The Punch value says how close to get to the set temperature, before stopping all preheat parameters.
