I've Changed My Mind (About Chocolate!) What About You?

Hi All,
Six years ago when I first started vaping, I bought 4 commercial e-liquids from the Milkman line. So far, with the exception of one Water-Malone one shot from Liquid Barn, those were the only e-liquids I ever purchased, and I started DIY mixing right after that.
One of those e-liquids was Milkman Moonies, described as " a buttery and decadent vanilla cake, layered with rich chocolate and infused with a fluffy marshmallow filling.." I remember clearly from the first time I vaped that juice in a subohm tank, I immediately came to the conclusion after only one or two puffs that I did not care even one little bit for chocolate vapes. I never tried that juice again, it expired in my fridge, and I eventually disposed of the juice.
Flash forward to March/2025. I wanted to revisit chocolate vapes because I’d found that over the years my tastes have changed on other flavors too. (What comes to mind first are tobacco infused desserts, which I now totally love.) I thought that if I was going to revisit this, I was going to start at the top (risky I know) with the best reviewed chocolate available. By most accounts this was Medicine Flower Chocolate (Dark) (Premium), so I ponyed up the money for a 15 ml.
So far I’ve mixed two recipes with this flavor, both using Pro_Vapes DIY Milk Chocolate Flavor Base

Both of the recipes I adapted have come out super-duper, and I have completely changed my mind about chocolate-infused vapes. Can I explain it? Not one little bit, but I’m glad that I gathered some opinions and chose Medicine Flower. The recipes are good enough for me to post, and they’re coming shortly. I have two more recipes waiting out a long steep. Gee - can you guess whose opinion I looked at first?

I knew that you could. So tell us a story? How have your tastes changed?

Hey Dman,
I feel you on chocolate vapes — they’re usually either way too dark or so watery it’s like vaping mud. I struggled with that too until I put together a mix that actually hits the spot. It’s my own recipe, so give it a try and let me know what you think:

One of the previous unsung heros was the OG INW Milk Chocolate, BEFORE the reformulation that is.
