@SessionDrummer thank you.
@SessionDrummer. Most of my builds for the mechs are single wire.( with the exception series and para series ). Have a Hell Vape seri built for those. You do awesome reviews.
Thank you very much. I wish I could build coils, like I build reviews LOL.
Nice looking coils, @VapeAddict13 ! Welcome to VC, too!
Thank you. It is an honor coming from yoo too
Thank you!
Not bad, OG! Curious, what does that spec out at? The wrap wire looks thick.
It is 3x 26AWG Ni80 with a 31AWG Stainless Steel 316 wrap. It comes out to 0.21ohm.
Awesome job on those coils OG
These specific round 20-25w at 2.5 mm , but they are completely experimental to be mtl, but I use slightly bigger versions for DL , I’ve got currently set-up in my Valhalla v2
These could be used as lower wattage DL tho if I increase ID and wraps
Absolutely spot on what you said about reviewing testing and using consumables, sometimes it’s absolutely ideal just to use round wire. For me 20 gauge ka one if I’m using a mech, 28 ni80 gauge for mtl, or 2*30/42 fused Clapton if I’m thinking mtl mech. I think it all depends on how lazy I’m feeling, I’m not gonna lie I build my own infuse captain’s juggernauts etc but sometimes I don’t mind dipping my hand in my pocket and saying to builder take my money send me coils and that might just be as a surprise me I want something different
My husbands little sister first ever functional vape coil. We are so proud of her and this coil is so special to us and her.
His little sister is special needs and she has seen us build coils and she wanted to try. We are very proud of her she is smoke free for 11 yrs now and she DOESN’T vape.
The coil
26 awg ni80
3.0 mm id
6 wraps
With 5.0 mm legs it would ohm at 0.65
That is OUTSTANDING @VapeAddict13Wife. The first coil, is always a big deal.
That’s pretty cool, Tanya! Tell her, nice work
Those are very pretty. I just don’t like how they vape. The are slow to heat up and hold their temp for too long.
Which, if you can define your coil in steam-engine, is due to a high ‘heat capacity’ as explained in the coil wrapping page.
Juggernaut can be ruthless to heat up if done bad, but I’ve been focusing on smaller mass they are are lot more responsive 28/38 for DL & 30/42 MTL
I Use to use 24 or 26g but as you said power gets a little crazy
