Maybe shipping will make it pricey but unless I am missing something the MTL options are 1.7m of cord which will either make four coils at a certain resistance or six coils at a higher resistance for either 3 or 4 euros, that sounds cheap!

Yeah, it will be the shipping that is the killer, but I’m still going to grab some. Hardest part for me will be convincing the better half I need it after all the wires I just bought, heh

The other issue of course is to make the shipping worth while you would need to order a few and then if they turn out to be pretty disappointing (pretty certain they will be fine but it’s always a risk) then it’s money wasted! Pity he doesn’t have a distributer in UK and US!

The last photo, at the bottom, looks like a pair of Mohawk’s, @OldGoat . One of my favorite builds. They produce good flavor, and look cool too.

@OldGoat I don’t get it. I’ve heard all of the pro’s for SS wire, clean, etc, etc., but I can’t remember why, it just never took off for me. BUT, this is from the guy who runs Kanthal in the daily driver, so …

Ha! Hardly build anything but SS. It’s the cleanest flavor of the common metals sold today. The only negative is the jumping of Ohms as the metal heats and cools.

I thought that was the deal with it. I can’t remember why it never took off for me. Maybe fragged coils out trying to dry burn them, not sure.

That’s got a bit of a different look to it, Tim. What wattage do you typically run that style at? I’m not an MTL’er, but guessing those wouldn’t be good for DTL vaping.
