I just found out the World Vape Show is coming to South Africa in 2025, and I couldn’t be more excited! This could finally be my chance to get my hands on some high-end mods and tanks that are nearly impossible to come by over here. I’m hoping we’ll see some of the top-tier gear and maybe even meet a few of the big names in the vaping world like Bogan or Mike Vapes—imagine that!
This could be a game-changer for us down here, and I’m curious—are any of the VC members thinking of making the trip to SA for the show? It’d be great to meet up and share the experience.
I’ll be setting up camp at our very own stand (details soon… because where’s the fun in giving it all away now?). Think of it as the DIY corner of the galaxy — if it can be wicked, coiled, or mixed, it’ll probably happen there.
We’re cooking up some collabs, working with some incredible sponsors (if you want to be on that list, gimme a shout), and maybe… just maybe… there will be a surprise or two for anyone who swings by.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be dropping updates here as the plan comes together. Expect behind-the-scenes chaos, questionable design sketches, and the occasional goat pun.
Honestly, I am freaking out a bit. I need to pull in some sponsorship deals to help me fund the stand. I don’t run a vape business, I’m just a very enthusiastic guy. So, I need to build this stand out my own pocket. I got a deal with ThunderCloud, they will send over some gear to show off. That might help to draw in some people, but does nothing to fund the decore for the stand.
I could use a hand from the herd. As some of you know, I’ll be representing DIY at the upcoming World Vape Show, and I’ve already got plans to showcase the VC calculator and community at my stand.
Here’s the rub: I’m still looking for a bit of funding to make the stand everything it needs to be. Ideally, I’d love to bring in sponsors from businesses that cater to DIY — flavour concentrates, coil wire, mod parts, that sort of thing. But honestly, if anyone is willing to contribute (big or small), it will go a long way in helping me put DIY front and center where it belongs.

A little update. Flavorah and All The Flavors are partnering with me for the show. That does not mean that VC is not going to enjoy the spotlight anymore, I mean, hell, if I want to show people how to mix juice, I can’t do it without the calculator, now can I?
I am still looking for someone from the wire industry to chip in. DIY is not just about e-liquid; coils are a big part of what we do, too. So if anybody can point me in the right direction, or if you know of anybody who would be willing to hop on board, please put me in touch. Hell, if any of you guys want to chip in, that would be great too.
