I picked up a book from one of those bookshelves that are scattered all over the streets for people to leave or pick up books.
Someone wrote a little foreword of their own

Dear (hopefully not) reader,
I would heartily recommend that you Do Not, under any circumstances read this book.
I have suffered so that you don’t have to. It is completely brain dead with barely a pulse and would be a complete waste of your time.
How this woman is making a living out of writing is beyond me. Only in America I suppose.
It stinks of publishing house deadline not to mention editing and “style”: If it were not for the fact that all books are sacred to me, I would give this one a fitting end and burn it.
