Apparently OoO makes a Burnt Sugar
So does my wife when trying to cook.
I’m sure making a cake in a wok is doable
I actually forgot it’s almost New Years Eve… That would explain the native guy walking down the back alley with his shoes under each arm and trudging through the snow in his socks,
Well, she goes for the traditional Bao (steamed bun approach) - anything with fire, murder, and possible death is my area. So slaying a goose in the shower and then turning around to flay eels and frogs is day-to-day stuff.
In Canada, Goose kills you…
Mess with the Honk, get the bonk
Sadly we had a cook from China that started her own restaurants and never got to try the pork buns…
I do really love Asian cuisine though, I just can’t stand western Chinese food.
Well, Western Chinese is a mix of Shanghai, Guangdong, Hong Kong and what was cheap in the US. Shanghai used to have a restaurant called Chopstix which went bankrupt for selling Western Chinese food, and they class FoIe Gras in jam as food.
I prefer Northern Chinese cuisine and a few Southern ones: I have never given away any technique in my 48 hour Dongpo Roe recipe.
Although impossible to get real ingredients for it
Well, can be a challenge, though I just decided to make my own rice wine, rice wine vinegar, kimchi and countless other things. I am considering working on my own tapioca starch as £5 for 2kg of uncooked prawn crackers could be made better at 1 per kg.
Oh yeah, I was just watching this youtuber make vinegars awhile ago, I never realized it was that easy… I could make vinegar out of beers I leave under my desk for weeks
Indeed, they come from being lazy!
Honestly though, DIYing your own food stuff is always way better. My s.o.l and brother were down for christmas and she can’t have anything onion or garlic, so we couldn’t use our usual salad dressing or anything and I ended up just making a simple raspberry vinegarette for her and it was actually pretty damn good.
Then it went well in the end. I tend to get pissed off with people who restrict their diet outside of medical reasons - even the Dalai Lama isn’t vegan as it gets in the way of survival on fucking freezing cold mountains.
Was Yuri Bezmenov a Psy-Op or was he Legitimate?
Having a very slow morning of working on a few paintings, UV washing jewellery, and watching a rustic cooking channel which is very me:
My staircase. It’s not what I had planned…
As I said before, the wood underneath was utterly boring and had no character whatsoever.
Leaving it blotchy and then give it a coating made it look decrepit.
It looked decrepit from the start, I might as well leave it as it was and save myself the trouble.
So I decided on paint. I just didn’t know what colour.
I was at my daughters house for her birthday, and she had painted her kitchen door.
The colour really stood out. I’m not usually a fan of yellow, but I liked this one.
It’s gold to be exact.
I’m not finished yet. I can only do a little bit at the time, and only the bits that do not require me to stand on a ladder.
Too wobbly for that.
The bottom of the steps and all the edges and little details still have to be done.
After that I can paint the wall behind the stairs.
If you lay down plywood you can slide down too
