Read a book several years ago by Michael Crichton, wherein he described temperatures in large cities becoming warmer due to the fact that thermometers were downtown rather than out side the cities.
Ever notice the temp notification of your car will says it’s 105 degrees on the expressway, when it’s 95 on the highway? Could that be because the black pavement and the car exhaust in front of you is confusing your thermometer?
What about the glaciers melting? Like they did before the last ice age?
He gave TON’S of facts and statistics, allowing the reader to come to his/her own conclusions. NOT sci-fi as he is wont to be.
My conclusion? Within the next several centuries, we’re going to freeze our asses off! George bush the 2nd, decreed that in 2030 we will land man on Mars while it is closest to earth. We’re well on our way!
