One of the things I’m asking myself lately, it’s right about FA Lemon Sicily, we all know it bloody fades… we all also know know it rounds up, and at first it’s great, but after steeping (or even earlier) it just disappears… then we add it for a note to support another lemon but the point is… is it worth it?
How do you manage that flavor? your thoughts?
Lemon Sicily was the first lemon flavor I owned. And being a fan of lemon, naturally I fell in love. But I’ve found CAP Juicy Lemon and MF Lemon are great for a lemon-dominant mix. And if I want to complement say, a bakery or desert mix, either of them are far superior to LS. Short answer, I stopped using it altogether.
I switched mine to flv… and found if I layer the lemon with lemonade, it produces a better lemon taste.

Lemonade on it’s own is rather week. the highest I have used it is 1.4% but by adding the lemon… I can cut down the “ade” to almost in half and still enjoy a lemonade with a touch of “bite” that does not fade. One of the best “ades” I really love.

go easy with that lemon… anything over .6% with it… it’s just too much.
Don’t add it with that citrus soda either, it doesn’t need it!

Well, hehe, it wasn’t intentional. Working some very long days, and mixed up 3 boxes to send out, and I was like, “Fuck, I feel like a Fruit Loops”. Re-sniffed my mega jug (I don’t know why I bought it) of TPA’s FC, and yeah, Lemon Pledge, and I remembered Silhouette saying the Cap Silverline version was pretty good (I reviewed it too, but I review a LOT of shit), so what the hell.
Thought it over, pulled out the “Likely Suspects”, didn’t try to get fancy, perfect, or final, and didn’t go Artisan either, just a “Let’s see how this works, I need a vape”, kinda thing.
Yeah and sometimes more than not, that works out to a good kinda thing , ( the KISS method)
