I suppose not creating my own recipes but mixing other peoples does have its benefits because I get to find and try many of the hidden gems out there for which I always leave a review. I have been pretty lucky so far and haven’t had many duds.

You are lucky as anything I’ve tried or made doesn’t quite hit the heights for me and still end up preferring bought branded liquids. Maybe I need to try more as it must be so much easier and cheaper to find a few recipes you can stick with.

Well it’s not all luck to be honest, I also look at the mixers profile and if they get decent ratings on any of their recipes, I also read comments left by others. I have now come to the point where I can roughly judge wether a recipe will be any good by the flavours they have used and at what percentage they used them. I now find that the occasional recipes that I don’t like are not because the flavour tastes horrible but because I simply can’t taste them especially if they are made with very low percentages so I tend to avoid those unless they are using very strong concentrates that doesn’t need much.

Awesome point! Just stop using ingredients that I don’t own okay? We need to start that new ground rule that nobody’s allowed to post recipes with stuff that I don’t already own. This was supposed to be a money saver over cigarettes. Have you seen my stash recently?

I made a mix of your alpine milk with .5% greek yoghurt like you suggested and I’m struggling to taste the difference from the normal alpine milk. Both are lovely though so it’s all good!
