Im really in love with custards and desserts, and this is whetting my whistle today. Making more than my sample batch (17ml) to keep on hand! Awesome recipe, by my tastes.
My tweeking toque is on and Im thinking: what if I tried this with sub SSA or OOO whipped cream for the Cap Vanilla Whipped cream, and INW Miss Cream or CNV Sweet Cream for the CAP Sweet Cream… Just for S&G… Im really impressed, and the recipe is nearly 4 years old.
One I’m working on. Not sure I can withstand the wait for full steep. Catalan Cream is a lovely flavor that adds a special touch not found elsewhere. Will shout out if I do end up changing things, but for now this is hitting all the right spots.
Wow, I’ve never thought of adding Catalan to a coffee. Sounds interesting, I don’t have the Soho (or any other bacco flavors) but I’ll bet the “nuttiness” adds wonders
