Thank you @lukeloop. I’m not sure if there is AP in the WC or not. Some people get/got a buttery maple from it, but I personally got more of the cone. If you ever do get around to trying the GG, would love to hear what your perceptive palate thinks.

AP normally hits me as bitter and / or (duh) Los Fritos, but I don’t get either from it, which IS, a blessing I guess.

I don’t avoid the ap… in fact, I use it often… One used to be able to get the powdered form from I think Chef’s?? but they no longer have it on site. If you look hard, you can find the powdered versions. The powder is what I use but it is typically thought of as a TFA additive.

Hehe @SmokyBlue, you must not know the wicked ways of OVERFLAVORING like I do !!! Granted, that was MANY years ago, but I’ve had a time or two of heavy handed Los Fritos usage in my past. Perhaps that has tainted my current use of it, as I can always taste it, and the trick for me, is to keep it JUST below where I can taste it.

It’s a bread/edging additive. It has a lot of good uses, but most yes are heavy-handed with it.
I was too, it just takes a learning curve for where you enjoy things you mix.
