TITA X2 Tank

A cool feature with this Boro tank is that the base of the tank that is constructed in spaced sections to aid both airflow intake towards the AFC pin and helps with cooling, acting like a heat sink of sorts.

The O-ring tolerance is spot on and the tank fits on the base nice a snug. Another handy innovation is the introduction of an additional side filling port, with the fill plugs easy to open and close and fill hole able to accommodate bottle nozzles with ease.

The TITA X2 fits in the TITA X2 Boro tank nice and snug with the o-rings holding it nice and tight inside, there are 4 AFC holes directing the airflow at the AFC pin. It’s nice how Veepon constructed this Boro tank, but there is no option to change out AFC pins without separating the top section off the base. This is a bit of a bummer when trying to select the desired airflow for your build!. This could be rectified in a 2.5 version?.

TITA X2 RBA

The RBA has TITA branding on the front and X2 branded on the other side, up top the chimney section is removable and held in place by a single O-ring. . There is a decorative clear plastic heat sink styled section that serves no function to my knowledge other than to give the top of the RBA dome a symmetry with the heat sink fins on the base. In my opinion, this would have looked more aesthetically appealing if it was made with the same metal as the base.

The RBA comes with 7 AFC pins ranging from 1.0 mm to 4.0 mm with a pre-installed 3.0 mm pin fitted. This selection of AFC pins offers a range of MTL to DTL airflow options. The AFC pins have good quality threading and when priming your installed coil you unscrew the installed ring at the base of the deck and the 510 threading is top-notch here too.

The deck has 2 offset posts with small Philips heads screws, there are notched wicking holes in the juice wells on either side. The inside of the top cap chamber is domed and the bore on the chimney measures 4.2 mm in diameter.

**MTL Build and Performance **

The RBA comes with 2 coils, A small 2.5 mm fused Clapton and a 3.0 mm fused Clapton.

The coil is easy to install, trapping the legs under the screws and clipping off any excess.

I primed the coil, and it came out at 0.7 Ohms. I trimmed off the excess cotton and tucked the wick into the juice wells. Replacing the pre-installed 3 mm AFC pin with the 1 mm pin to test this RBA’s performance in MTL mode.

I ran this build at 25 watts with a 50VG/50PG e-liquid and can report satisfying MTL draw, tight but not super tight. A nice crackle from the included coil and a satisfying throat hit was achieved. The 1.2 mm pin definitely feels a lot looser of a draw. Wicking is excellent on the TITA X2 as it keeps up when chain vaping.

DL Build and Performance

Again, no issues installing the included coil. Legs trapped in place under small but beefy screws. This RBA will fit larger and more exotic coils as there is plenty of room to work with.

Primed and wicked up, this coil came out at 0.31 Ohms. Plenty of room to fit enough cotton into the juice wells.

I ran it at 45 Watts this time using the 3 mm AFC pin and a 70VG/30PG e-liquid. It has a very satisfying draw with just enough restriction for this coil and wattage. Wicking kept up when chin vaping, and it produced a warm, tasty saturated vape with the flavour spot on. It’s a pleasure to take long deep draws in this configuration. I plan on using the 4 mm pin with a Boro alien coil in the near future.

Final Thoughts

I like what VEEPON did with the base on the X2 Tank, It looks aesthetically pleasing as well as good functionality, the addition of a side filling port is a plus. The O-rings hold up well, with no leaking noticed during my testing. The X2 RBA has a lot going for it, with ease of coil instillation and airflow options. It performed well in my opinion with no real cons.It would be nice to have the option to swap out AFC pins on the fly tho. I didn’t experience any annoying shorting out or no coil detected errors when testing. A solid Boro combo overall that can be picked up at a decent price point.

I would like to thank VEEPON for sending the X2 RBA and X2 Tank over for review, and I hope you enjoyed reading my thoughts on this one.

Nice looking setup, and the attention to deburring/chamfering edges is a nice touch. Thanks @Daredevil :+1:
