VC Vape Mail 2026

It’s not here yet, but I ordered a Hellvape Drop Dead 2 RDA from 2FVape mostly because I love the stepped airflow in my Dead Rabbit Solo RDA.

Hi All - I’m still waiting on that Drop Dead 2 to arrive, but in the meantime I decided to accept a new mission. I’ve never tried Castle Long and since I live in an eliquid prohibited state (only tobacco, menthol, and unflavored sold) I’ve mentioned that DIY is now TOW (The Only Way.) I wanted to try Castle Long and after reading warefairsoda’s extensive development notes and looking at a lot of recipes, I decided to buy all the exact flavors for this recipe:
https://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/4246385/Castle%20Long%20Reserve%20-%20Limited%20Holiday%20Edition%20MMXXI%20(v.448)
Directly from The Perfumer’s Apprentice (TPA) I ordered the following:

From Bull City Flavors:

I already had the rest of the flavors, and I already have CLR LHE MMXXI steeping. I also mixed my first attempts at CLR LHE Chocolate and CLR LHE Custard. I literally can’t keep my nose out of the bottles, and if I try them and like them, these may be next on the purchase list:

I have high hopes.

Also from Bull City Flavors, a few more 30 ml Chubbys and caps for my 30 and 60 ml amber bottles:

And from Flavor Jungle, some 10 ml Chubbys and another 30 ml , and a couple of one shots I really wanted to try. The Hot Glazed Donut seems to be rated as one of the best on ELR, and I can’t find Mom and Pop’s Cal[itter Chow:

Mix your brains out people!

This was too good not to pick up some more after reviewing them …

Trying to help the wife get up to a better platform …

I’ve always had a weakness for Graham Slam, and I’m working on a clone, so picked up a couple. A friend wanted some OTHER Slams (I didn’t know there were any), so I picked them up at the same time.

I may have mentioned that I like temp control vaping stainless steel coils. I have a few DNA mods, and I really like those, but I’ve read so many positive reviews about Yihi temp control, and I have a couple of 30mm tanks, so I treated myself:

I cannot get the device to hook up with my Wifi and open the SX Panel, but it came with the latest software and firmware versions. I’m still working on that. I’ve tried it with my QP Fatality M25 Remastered with some 22 gauge SS316L 3 mm 7 wrap spaced coils, and the vape was dense and saturated. Oddly, I’ve not yet determined if wattage can be separately adjusted in temp control mode. I think it may only be adjusted using the Temp Presets, but you can edit the Presets. I turned up the Smartboost for the Ni80 Wotofo 0.30 Ohm Aliens I have in this Drop Dead to 135% and 0.8 seconds, and it’s firing really dang quick - again, dense and saturated, just how I like it! If only I can hook up the Wifi!

@CaptainKirk I hooked it when I reviewed it. Maybe this will help you …

Yup SD, I get to the step where I scan the yellow QR, I select my home network, enter the password, and then the process stalls - I do not receive the green QR code. I’ve tried numerous times, including:

  1. Temporarily pausing the 5.1 Ghz service (I can do that on my device) and reverting to 2.4 Ghz.
  2. Connecting to my Guest network with a shorter password.
  3. Wiping the Wifi settings on the G Class and reverting to factory settings. Multiple times.
  4. Resetting my router to, what they call, Legacy 6.1 settings.

At the moment I’m stumped, and I’ve sent a message to Yihi. I think it’s possible the IP address is being blocked by my service - I’ve gotten that error message a couple of times. I think I’ll be calling my ISP for help too. Thanks for reaching out though.

OK, for some reason, I seem to remember it needing to be on the 2.4 radio. You said you paused the 5, so I’m assuming you were hooked to the 2.4. If your host (modem/router) is dual radio (most are), and the 2 networks are “bonded”, “joined”, or “managed”, it may have issues connecting.

Do you have the ability to create a dedicated 2.4 network on your modem/router ?

The key is not not worry about changing the cell phones WIFI, but the DHCP Host. Many providers have started to run bonded, or managed 2.4/5 WIFI’s, and you can always tell, if you cannot see each radio (2.4/5) SSID, then they are bonded. A dedicated 2.4 WIFI SSID is what the device needs to connect to.

Also @CaptainKirk if/when you setup a 2.4 SSID, make the password simple. Sometimes special characters can muck things up as well. It’s only a temp setup, long enough for you to hook and update, make changes, etc.

OK, so I tried again this morning. I again temporarily paused the 5.1 Ghz service and used my Guest network with a simpler 8 character password, though my main network password had no special characters. I had to refresh the connection dialogue multiple times in order for the unit to detect networks, but it finally gave me a list where I could select the Guest network, and the unit finally connected with the SX Panel.

So the first thing I did was to re-update the v1.73 firmware because I had wiped the Wifi settings back to factory, and I noticed in the firmware information that a newer Wifi module was available. The update ran in about 10 mins. and the unit is functional.

However, for those considering this device: exiting the green QR Code screen turns off the Wifi on the G Class.

Mine does not stay on, and in order to run the SX Panel, I have to go through the connection routine again, and I’m not sure if this is the way the system is designed or if this is a problem. I’d like to hear from other G Class V2 owners on this, and Thanks @SessionDrummer for the pointers.

I’m glad that helped @CaptainKirk. I had to scratch my memory banks a bit, hehe.

Maybe @David_SXmini could shed some light on the v 1.73 firmware, and exiting the green QC screen turning off the WIFI.
