I can answer that because I have one - yes - the ultem insert has been replaced by metal. I have to admit I’m looking forward to SD’s review…

in 4 days … delivered. My fastest (and 1st) order from old Chef’s was 5.
Yes…typical excellent flavor, just like the smaller version, Mike. I do keep the wells a bit tighter/fuller than with the M25, otherwise wet hit’s ensue. Really like the look of it, though!
Well, it may be “Vapers Anonymous” for me. I don’t mind spending a few bucks on some quality tools - Wiha Micro and Torx bits, an IFixit Micro driver, and a small Wiha storage bag to keep my office tools in.
But I’ve lost my mind and bought another tank! I may have mentioned that I prefer a restricted direct lung draw, and I’m hoping that a device specifically tailored for that might be the vape I’m still looking for. I want to move to temp control, and I’ve just had recent success with the Coilology SS316 Tri-Core Fused Clapton in my Hellvape Dead Rabbit Solo. Unfortunately I can’t find this wire anymore, and the WireOptim SS316 26 gauge round wire may make great coils for the Oxva Arbiter Solo. Thanks to @Timwis and @Wayneo for their recent help with understanding Steam Engine. A 2.5 mm ID 10 wrap WireOptim coil w/ 6mm of leg (I’ve already wrapped one) should come out to about 0.66 Ohms. The Oxva is washed and drying - when I get a build together, I’ll try and post some notes. Cheers!
The only Arbiter I haven’t tried despite it being the one that would most suit me and hearing very good things about it!
Deciding to give them another chance(after seeing the poor quality while repairing an L200 Aegis) I picked up a couple GeekVape L200 Classic (21700) Legends. Not expecting much from them, and I wasn’t disappointed The TC suite sucks…With a known good SS316 setup, no matter how much I crank either of them up, the best they can muster is a cool, unimpressive hit. I scoured the web, looking for info on how to adjust what I believe is the TCR field(can’t highlight it in settings), to no avail. The larger batt. format, and water resistance lured me in, and so if the other modes continue to produce a decent vape, I’ll live with them. I don’t know of anything I might be doing wrong, but feel free to opine.
Tc tr mode changes your wire values if that’s what your after I think the other modes are locked on the values of the wire
They went into decline after Justin’s departure, they use to make top notch gear and were leaders in the mainstream when it came to innovation!
It has fixed TCR setting for each wire type which is a bit crap as some prefer a slightly different setting, you can adjust wattage for the TC which is good! You can go to TC-TCR mode which does allow the T (tcr value) to be altered along with temp and vape using that mode but in that mode the wattage seems to be fixed! To be honest I personally have never picked a Geekvape mod up if I fancied vaping using TC!
If you want to vape using TC then that’s where the premium chipsets like DNA, YiHi and Dicodes come into their own!
Yeah, tried that, too. I hear you about premium chips for TC, and I’ve got several, Tim. Like I mentioned, the other feature’s won me over, and I did want a bit larger of a backup inventory of mods.
I love my Classics so much that I have four but then I’m a straight wattage vaper, if I was into TC I would probably just get a DNA type of mod and be done with it.
Asmodus came out with some really cool stabwood/acrylic mods… One I had always wanted but always out of stock, it was a single battery squonker but had a somewhat triangular shape to it. Man they looked cool.
Yep never pulled the trigger on those two and regretted it ever since the furyan squonk was the other
Very nice…you scored @GodzNCloudz
Yeah that does look nice.
Thanks man what sold me was its a mech but has safety features to prevent overloading so win win
I have two! A blue and a green, was a collaboration with vaperound magazine! I reviewed the Blue one and liked it so much bought a green!
