Update on the above pictured set up.
Ok, so I had mentioned in a previous post how the TC worked great on this mod. I found over time it would lose that great TC functionality and start overheating the coils. Not unlike what I’ve seen from other non-DNA mods. I’m not sure what’s causing this as I’ve tried that process of elimination. When it works it’s fantastic.
What I will say is when it comes to squonking, there are two things that have always been sticking points for me, and that is fill method and liquid capacity. And I do really prefer a dual battery, but if you have the right single coil atty, that doesn’t matter much. The Topside from Dovpo was a killer design, but I went through too many of those mods as there are fatal flaws with it. This, however, is a gem. The Pulse V2 is bottom fill, but very easy to load with its wide opening. No unscrewing the atty to use a fill bottle, and no removing the squonk bottle to fill. So that much is a treat. It has 6ml capacity. And with that 21700 battery, I’m getting great battery life. So while the TC function seems to be a little suspect, in other modes this thing kicks it. Highly recommend this combo - Vandy Vape Pulse V2 and Wotofo Elder Dragon. And if I do figure out the issue with TC I’ll be sure to post it up.

I’ve actually been weighing up getting this one or the topside what are the issues you had with them you’re talking about ?
I don’t use tc so looks like the pulse might be the one I do like the large hit count

One issue is user error, but something to consider. The battery door is held closed by 2 thin aluminum tabs. These either break off or are bent if the mod is dropped even from a fairly low height. I had it happen to 3 of them.
Next issue is the mod just quits. I had one DOA and another that just stopped turning on one day. No rhyme or reason.
Lastly, it started first with my single battery Topside. It would drain batteries while sitting. One of my duals started doing that as well.
So all in all, I can’t own anymore of these even though the features for squonking are spectacular.

Gotcha. Well take some good advice here…if you don’t already own a great single coil squonk atty, get one. I highly recommend that Elder Dragon, but likely there’s equally good ones out there if not better. This is a flavor beast which is why I recommend it. And do go for the 21700 battery to run it with. You’ll be very glad you did.

Forgot how much I like the Espion running arctic fox, definitely the best mod Joytech has ever made.
The Fatality 25 looks good on it but the Juggerknot V2 looks great and this mod holds a 28mm. Once the Fatality needs a rebuild the Jugger is gonna take it’s place.
