Well the COOL thing is, once you get enough stuff, and you can test it out, you can than find out what represents the BEST flavor for you, and if it’s applicable, you can CHOOSE that for your flavor tests.
There is nothing worse than a huge ass, fancy, shiny setup, that just doesn’t DO the flavor right.
With more cotton used and quick refills (having the top-cap off for the shortest time possible) has definitely sorted the oversaturation issue out. I am noticing after quite a few refills it returns (although it clears after a few vapes) but I kind of don’t mind this as it’s a good guide that it could do with a re-wick!
It took me a while to get to the right amount of cotton, I increased it only slightly each time as I find with MTL RTA’s usually having a lot of cotton slightly mutes flavour and increases break-in period but that just doesn’t seem to happen with the Classic, great flavour from the off and I have now tried tobacco to add to both fruits and deserts, it has no prejudice!
Would 50/50 juice work in this without leaking everywhere?
You could try but these days even MTL RTA’s tend to prefer thicker liquids, MTL tanks with stock coils that have tiny wicking holes like the Aspire BVC coils go well with 50/50! If you do try though you would need to further increase the cotton to give it a chance else it definitely will flood!
Hmm ok. Just asking as all my juice is made with nic salt so I’m thinking using it in an MTL tank would be like vaping fresh air. The only juice I have atm with regular nic is a bunch of 10ml bottles of 50/50 I got thrown in free with other purchases. I might just wait and grab something thicker with fb nic in it.
You can still test it’s performance for smooth draw and flavour just test alongside something else you are relying on for your nic satisfaction and when making a judgement on the Classic factor in that any lack of throat hit is down to the e-liquid being used rather than the RTA!
I vape 3mg (2mg DIY with any tank even pod systems), If you vape using Nic Salts then I can only guess you prefer the smoothness over any throat hit so the only problem really is you might not get your nic hit using the lower nic mg with MTL because you are use to DL, so simply vape something else when testing so you still get the nic you need! Then if you actually like the Classic to the point where you might actually carry on using it in your rotation you can make e-liquid especially for it with higher mg!
