Design & Features
The Smoant Knight AIO showcases a stereotypical compact boro mod design, built from durable zinc alloy and PCTG materials, the chassis feels solid in hand without being overly heavy.
Its boxy Boro-style form factor is ergonomic, with softly rounded edges, making it comfortable to carry and use throughout the day.
The battery compartment on the Smoant Knight AIO is neatly tucked behind a removable side panel, giving the device a clean, seamless appearance. This door and the device both features a laser-etched Smoant logo, adding no confusion to the user that this device is indeed produced by Smoant. It’s held firmly in place by strong magnets, ensuring it doesn’t shift or rattle during use.
Once removed, you’ll find clearly marked battery orientation indicators inside, making installation foolproof even for new users. A handy feature that has been incorporated is the swivelling battery tab—once your 18650 cell is inserted, simply turn the tab to lock the battery securely in place. This mechanism ensures solid contact and prevents movement or battery rattle.
The Knight AIO features several removable panels, offering more than just aesthetic appeal. This design not only adds a layer of versatility for customization, but also proves incredibly handy for maintenance and refilling, as the included pod offers dual filling ports, which can be done without removing the Boro cartridge. The front and side panel offer clear visibility to see your e-liquid level clearly.
All these removable panels are held firmly in place with strong magnets, And when all are detached, you’re presented with the device’s bare chassis—an exposed yet clean layout that reveals the inner frame.
On one side of the Knight AIO, you’ll find a round, protruding fire button that’s tactile and easy to reach, with the up and down adjustment buttons conveniently placed just below it.
Flipping over to the opposite side, the bright clear 0.49-inch OLED screen is positioned underneath the tank access door, keeping the display protected while still being easily viewable during use. This screen provides all the necessary info you need to see clearly This layout keeps the controls and display well-separated, contributing to a clean, functional design that balances aesthetics with usability.
The transparent PTCG body is a cool feature, offering a clear view of the internal layout, including the AI ANT chip housed on the main board. It adds a high-tech, futuristic aesthetic, and for those who appreciate the engineering behind their devices, it’s a great touch. Being able to see the wiring, circuitry, and board components gives the Knight AIO a unique edge in both style and transparency of build.
On the bottom of the device, you’ll find the USB Type-C port, This offers the option for 5V/2A charging for when you run short on battery power.
At the top, the 510 drip tip screws in securely, helping to anchor the tank in place with smooth, precise threading. This design ensures both stability and ease of use when assembling or removing the tank section.
Smoant includes two 510 drip tips in the kit, giving users a bit of versatility right out of the box. I found both very comfortable to use.
These drip tips are designed to fit into the flush nut fitting, And are held securely in place thanks to double O-rings and two recessed notches where the tabs on the drip tip fit snuggly. This ensures a tight fit with no wobble or looseness. This feature really helps you anchor your tank in place securely without the need for an additional tool, A necessity for boro devices in the past.
The Knight AIO offers up to 90 watts of output power, giving users plenty of headroom whether you’re running stock coils or a rebuildable setup. For those who like to fine-tune their vape, the device features 8 different output modes, allowing for a tailored experience based on your preferred vaping style.
At the heart of the device is Smoant’s ANT Chip, which brings AI-powered control to manage power delivery intelligently while maintaining consistent performance. It also oversees a comprehensive list of built-in safety protections, listed below.
Tank & Coils
The Knight AIO Tank is designed for Smoant Knight AIO Kit. It is a full visible cartridge, which features 5ml capacity, adjustable airflow control. Knight AIO Cartridge is compatible with Smoant K Series Coils.
As mentioned, the Kit is supplied with two included coils from the K-Series range.
These offer a good starting point with DL option and RDL option available to the user.
They are easy to fit with a push fit design aided by dual o-rings on the coil itself and the chimney top section of the tank.
I can admit that they are easy to install, with no error short messages displayed during my testing.
The tank is clear, and it is easy to see your e-liquid level at a glance, while refilling options are up to your preference as it and the device both offer front and side filling options. With easy to open fill tabs and the port adequate for filling.
Airflow control to the coils is provided by an adjustable tab on the bottom protruding from the bottom of the tank and easy to adjust on the fly to suit your airflow preference for the installed coil.
Performance
First up the 0.15 Ω coil, This coil performed well at first, bedding in quickly after a soaking and leaving for a few moments. I enjoyed the flavour and vapour production, but boy does differ when you start chain vaping on it. This coil and the tank get HOT! At 90 Watts. There is sufficient airflow when the AFC is fully open, but this heat transfers into the device, and you don’t want that kind of heat in your hand when you have a potential for your battery to overheat. With all this heat and nowhere for it to dissipate, the flavour of the e-liquid for me was compromised. Needless to say, this coil did not last long either, as it gunked up after only 500 puffs and rendered the coil utterly flavourless.
Next up, the 0.4 Ω coil, In my opinion the better of the two included coils. This coil offers a cooler vape at the maximum wattage of 50 Watts. It offers good flavour and vapour production, and a much more usable option. Battery life is aslo more efficient using this coil.
Verdict
The Smoant Knight AIO delivers a solid and versatile experience in a Boro-compatible form factor. With its powerful 90W output, removable panels, and clear internal layout, it strikes a great balance between functionality and aesthetics. The inclusion of multiple output modes, The reliable AI-powered ANT chip never missed a beat when testing and a well-secured battery battery housing shows Smoant’s attention to detail, especially for a kit aimed at both beginners and experienced users.
The build quality is rock solid, and the modular design makes it easy to clean, customise, and maintain. It performs well out of the box with the included K-series coil and also provides the flexibility to use other Boro-style tanks. Whether you’re into stock coils or rebuilding, the Knight AIO accommodates both styles comfortably.
Overall, it’s a well-rounded AIO kit with innavotive drip tip design —perfect for someone looking for a AIO without having to carry additional tank releasing tools. Highly recommended for vapers wanting an affordable entry into the Boro world with quality performance.
