From the 1st June it will be illegal to sell single use disposable vapes here in the UK, read more below
Well there it is — straight from the Queen’s paperwork.
June 1st, 2025 — UK bans single-use vapes.
Finally! A decision with more brains than marketing dollars behind it.
This isn’t about taking vapes away — it’s about pushing the industry (and users) toward something more sustainable, smarter, and frankly… better.
Refillable gear is cheaper in the long run, hits better, and doesn’t end up clogging a landfill or getting chewed on by a confused seagull.
If this forces even a handful of new vapers to learn how to wick, drip, or mix — that’s a win.
Time to brush off your coil tools, grab a few bottles of concentrate, and get involved in the part of vaping that actually matters.
Good riddance to plastic puff sticks. Long live rebuildables.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
I’ve never stocked nor will I ever stock disposables. I include the 12ml pre-filled pods in that as well.
The sales in the shop are going through the roof as more and more people turn away from disposables. In the 9 months the shop has been open I’ve converted almost 1,000 people from them and on to a simple pod kit, I’ll even swap out the pods they come with for 1.2 Ohm pods, so they’ll still get that disposable taste until they’re ready to go on to 0.6 or 0.8 Ohm pods.
Some have actually gone on to rebuildables, which is awesome.
My simple sales tactic - tell them they’ll save £1,500 a year and they’re sold.
