It is always a great loss when an animal which was a loving glue in the family passes.
I hope and pray that you have strength at this time: Even my eyes tear-up remembering the amazing animals who adopted me.

Very sorry to hear that Simon. In our house the “pets” are almost more important than the “people”.
Sorry to hear, Simon. I see his manner of passing as a blessing, rather than having to have it any other way.
So sorry. I know how hard it is.
Thoughts and prayers buddy.
I’m so sorry for your loss and you have my deepest condolences.
Condolences, such a handsome sweet dog.
Spectacular view, Chris! I presume you and pooch did a bit of hiking?
This trip was pretty low key due to many of roads in and out of the mountain hiking trails are still closed.
But I still wanted to get out to enjoy the views. This trip only required temps that caused the condensation to freeze inside of the truck over night and just a bit of sketchy driving.
Live near the mountains, about an hour away. Favourite places in my country to drive is along the rockies
With our recent loss, as well as @muth’s, and @Lynda_Marie’s, it’s been a rough stretch. It reminded us, that you can never replace, but you can build new bonds.
There was an adoption event locally, and we stumbled across some kittens, who were FIV positive, and we were concerned that they would not get good homes, or any at all. Well, they do now.
Welcome Louisa (Famous Warrior), and Sammie (God heard) to the clan …
I’m so happy for you and your family, they’re nice looking cats and will be great companions moving forward. Good memories to come in time.
Thank you @JoelSq.
I’m happy for you, SD…it’s never easy going through the loss of a furry family member. Your new ‘kids’ just got lucky, finding the home they did.
