Design

The Nano Z2 has a clean glossy shell with a sleek gun metal zinc alloy frame. The pod comes in traditional style elongated shape. The fade on the colour scheme from blue to black is pleasing. On one side you have the USB Type C charging port and AFC slider control, while the other side sports a fire button. On the front of the device, there is a 0.96-inch TFT Display Screen with LED Light Bars. The fire button is a perfect size and is clicky and responsive.

The screen is easy to read and the customizable themes and lighting features add a pizazz to this device. It even delivers a cool looking graphic animation when charging.

To access the menu, you click on the fire button twice, and you will see,

  • Power
  • Smart
  • Theme
  • Puff
  • Lighting
  • Colour
  • Exit

There you click the fire button to toggle through the different settings and modes and hold down on the fire button to select the parameter you want. 3 Clicks on the fire bottom allow you to change the wattage in power mode manually up to a max of 30 Watts, and it will round-robin back to 5 Watts. However, if you prefer, you can set the device to auto mode, and it will automatically select the correct wattage range for the pod you have inserted.

There are 3 different UI themes to decide from, which displays the information in a different layout on the screen. There are 7 different colours options to choose how your theme will look. The screen provides the following info.

  • Power
  • Wattage
  • Locked symbol
  • Puff counter
  • Battery percentage bar
  • Ohms
  • And puff time

Pod

The included pod comes with a 0.3ohm coil and is rated 13–18 Watts. The pod has a handy feature where the filling port is accessible while being still attached to the device. The filling tab is easy to open, and the hole is big enough to accommodate bottle nozzles comfortably. Strong magnets both on the pod and inside the housing hold the pod securely in place. And as you can see in the pictures, there are sufficient airflow holes at the base of the pod. The mouthpiece at the tip of the pod is comfortable during use. TPD in full effect as Rincoe have made the capacity 2ml.

Performance

The Nano Z2 is a dual activation device and with the side flush mounted fire button make is less likely to fire when in your pocket. Packing an internal 1000mAh battery inside, I got to 327 on the puff counter before the battery exhausted, and it has a charge time of 45 minutes.

The included pod performed well. Good flavour and a satisfying restricted direct draw I like the vape from this, Adjusting the AFC to half way open is how I prefer it. Coil longevity is excellent, reaching 1200 puffs before a slight decrease in flavour.

Final thoughts

Rincoe have released another cracking pod device to the nano platform, with a stylish look and tons of functionality and customizable features. The cols produce great flavour and I like the convenience of not having to remove the pod when refilling due to that raised fill port position. I did not experience any leaking during my time testing this device. Good battery life and the screen is high quality and very legible.

I would like to thank Rincoe for sending the Manto Nano Z2 over for review, and I hope you enjoyed reading my thoughts on this one.

I’ve not used rincoe products, so if
0.3ohm coil and is rated 13–18 Watts. The device is 30w does that mean they’ve got lower ohm pod that hits closer to max wattage?
I’m definitely curious to know what alloys there using

Yup, it appears they do a compatible pod that is 0.5 Ohm rated at 20–25 Watts.
