Design & Features
The Xlim SQ Pro 2 keeps the same compact, square form factor the SQ line is known for, but with a more refined finish. It’s built from a lightweight zinc alloy chassis with soft rounded edges, making it comfortable to grip and easy to slip into a pocket. The front houses a vibrant colour display, giving clear battery, wattage, and puff info at a glance.
On the front, a bright colour touchscreen display adds a modern touch while keeping all key info—battery life, wattage, puff count—easy to read. The user interface has been given a serious upgrade: with 4 themes, 4 animation effects, and 4 standby wallpapers, the SQ Pro 2 lets you personalize the look and feel far more than most pod kits in this class. The circular HD smart touch screen features a response time of under 30ms and 99.999% accurate touch input, registering touch inputs seamlessly and virtually instantaneously.
The screen on the Xlim SQ Pro 2 is one of the most advanced displays you’ll find on a pod device. It boasts a 316 PPI high pixel density, giving you crisp, sharp text and icons with no blurring or jagged edges. With a 248 × 240 resolution packed into its compact size, every detail—from wattage numbers to puff counters—pops clearly on screen.
The display also runs at a 60Hz mobile-level refresh rate, making transitions, animations, and UI effects smooth and responsive. The pod fits flush at the top, with strong magnets holding it firmly in place.
The USB-C port sits on the side for quick charging, and an airflow control slider on the same side allows quick adjustment between tight MTL and looser RDL draws. And the overall build quality feels tight and well-machined, with no rattles or loose parts.
On the opposite side of the device, you get a function button and mounting plate for the included lanyard.
As expected from OXVA, the SQ Pro 2 comes loaded with built-in protections to keep vaping safe and reliable. The chipset automatically monitors the device and applies the following safeguards:
- Low Battery Protection – prevents firing when the battery is too low, protecting both the cell and coil.
- No Atomizer Detected – the device won’t fire if a pod isn’t properly seated or if the coil connection fails.
- Short Circuit Protection – shuts the system down instantly if a short is detected.
- Overheating Protection – monitors temperature and cuts off if things get too hot.
- Eight-Second Cutoff – stops firing after 8 seconds to prevent accidental pocket firing or coil burnout.

Pods
Oxva include two pods with the kit,
A 0.6 Ω rated for 20-25W & 0.8 Ω rated for use at 12-16W
These pods have the easy to open-top mounted filling port with a tab that is easy to open and close, and will accommodate most e-liquid bottles with ease. I have come to really like using these pods around this easy fill mechanism.
Performance
The 1600mAh battery is a massive powerhouse, placing the XLIM SQ Pro 2 at the top of its class for capacity. This fundamentally changes the user experience, offering exceptional longevity.
First up the 0.8Ω MTL Coil (~16W):
- Performance: The low wattage demand on this high-capacity battery is minimal.
- Result: For a typical MTL vaper, the battery will easily last 2 to 3 full days on a single charge. Light users could potentially see even longer use.
Next the 0.6Ω RDL Coil (~21W):
- Performance: While it uses more power per puff than the 0.8Ω coil, the 1600mAh capacity easily handles it.
- Result: Even with this higher-wattage coil, a user can expect a solid day of heavy use. Moderate vapers will finish a full day with plenty of power to spare.
The USB-C port supports 2A fast charging. A 10-minute charge can provide several hours of use. A full charge** from empty takes approximately 45–50 minutes.
