Introduction
Reviewing disposable vapes is usually very simple – does it have adjustable airflow and/or power? what is the battery capacity? and how does it taste? This one’s a little different and it’s not 100% a disposable vape.
Product Overview
The Maskking LECO Kit is built around a distinct modular design, with a basic exoskeleton-like unit that houses a removable battery, and slots for four 2ml individual flavor pods.
The device claims up to 2400 puffs total.
Flavor Pods
The LECO is designed to carry four flavors, with one flavor pod is vapeable at any given time, swapping is easy - simply push to remove and swap in another.
However, the slots are not only for flavors - if you carry three flavors rather than four, the remaining slot in the frame can be used for a bonus device – kits include “blind box” with two random extras – mine came with two laser pointers - other possible bonus devices are a flashlight, compass and thermometer - all of which can be used after the device is no longer in use.
From looking at their website, it seems as if replacement flavor pods are available for sale.
Battery
The battery unit/screen is also removable for disposal and/or replacement.
Screen
The screen doesn’t display anything until you use the device, then it goes a little crazy – firstly it has an animated snake pattern (think the old Nokia game) then it displays puff time, then remaining battery level and finally an animated Pac-Man sequence.
Flavors
There are various editions which come with a different selection of four flavors, mine was the mixed berry edition which came fitted with
Blue Berry Sour Raspberry – this one is awesome – pretty much Blue Razz but with a hint of raspberry
Grape Ice – exactly what you’d expect – a sweet slightly frozen grape flavor.
Fizzy Cherry – I’m not a big fan of cherry, but it wasn’t that bad.
Strawberry Raspberry Cherry – the cherry was subtle in this one, it’s a decent flavor.
PLUS
In the kit were also three boxes each with two pods of the following:
Watermelon Ice – this is another good one, I could happily vape this 24/7
Double Apple – more candy that actual apple, with a strong flavor
Melon Ice – I like Melon, so I enjoyed this one
Note: all juices I received were 20mg – I’m not sure if this is the same for all markets
Conclusion
While the laser pointer and animations are fun – they wouldn’t matter if this device didn’t work well – however, it does work well – juices have decent flavor and the ability to have four different flavors on one device is very welcome.
I’m still not sure if this is a disposable vape or not – the flavor pods are, but you’re going to be able to put new pods in it, so not 100% disposable.
