Did the rest of it go on a tangent about social justice, the bourgeois and trans rights?
I mixed it at 3%(1%nic) and let it sit 8 days. Right off the top, I’m getting a tobacco note that carries to the finish. At 3% it feel’s thin and sweetness is about a 4 out of 10. I don’t taste any vanilla, but there is a bit of egginess toward the finish. For me, the custard struggles to push through that aforementioned top note. What did you mix your test at, @OldGoat ?
I did a 3% too. But it only had 1 day to steep. I am on a 3 week trip and will only be back home on the 1st of Nov. I will give it a try then.
Hey guys.
Sorry for the radio silence, life got hectic.
Okay, where were we? Ah, yes, Warm Custard (VT).
@whthek I hear what you are saying. It does seem a bit thin. However, it reminds me of a homemade custard. Not from a fancy recipe book, but rather like the kind you get when you mix custard powder and milk and put it on the stove.
It is a flavour I know well. I’m not sure how popular it is in the UK, but here is SA, cheap homemade custard is a big deal.
Let’s run with it, OG. I’m up for something new!
I’m in 2 minds about it. I does taste like the custard I grew up with, but I never really liked it. I would much rather have a box custard.
But I think that eggy note might help drive the recipe home.
Been working on a little something in the background.
I am steeping my first batch of this and will update you guys with the results.
Right boys, so I had my first real tase of Creamageddon. WOW!!!
This is so close to what I was looking for. Not 100% there yet, but close.
Any suggestions?
@OldGoat I am just NOW finishing up the Flavor Jungle flavor and shot reviews, I gotta mix that one up next.
Nice. I am excited to get your feedback. I have been bouncing between Maple Syrup and Golden Syrup. The Maple just works that much better. Gives it an earthy note that the Golden Syrup lacks.
I’ve always found that Maple Syrup can be a great blender in mixes. Not even sure why.
I never used it until now. I really do like it. It is a great alternative to Super Sweet if used in the right way.
I just got back from the Vape Shop with a bottle of Prime Maximum Custard and did a side by side with Creamaggedon.
I can almost not tell the difference.
If you haven’t seen it yet, let me introduce you to Creamaggedon, my take on the Ultimate Custard. This recipe doesn’t play by the usual rules—it’s bold, intense, and packed with high percentages that might make you raise an eyebrow. But trust me, it works.
The idea here was to push the boundaries of what we think a custard can be. The flavors are rich and unapologetically indulgent, with layers of creamy vanilla, buttery caramel, and a surprising twist that brings everything together.
One of the key players here is Maple Syrup. You might have noticed there’s no sweetener in this mix, and that’s intentional. The maple syrup does double duty—adding a natural sweetness and a unique depth that takes this custard to a whole new level.
I know the percentages might seem a bit wild, but in this recipe, it’s all about going big or going home. And when you taste it, you’ll get why.
This is close to what I envisioned for the Ultimate Custard, but it’s not quite there yet. That’s where you come in. Let’s make Creamaggedon the recipe we all mix up, savor, and look back on as a legacy of our time here on VC.

Let’s finish this masterpiece together. Who’s with me?
I applaud your efforts and energy. I have been watching the thread but I don’t have some of the flavors and I am also not keen on a few of the flavors. I wish you well.
Thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate you keeping an eye on the thread—it means a lot to have people interested in the project, even if they’re not actively mixing it up just yet.
I totally understand not having all the flavors or being keen on a few of them. Everyone’s palate is different, and that’s what makes this community so awesome. But hey, if you were to build your version of the Ultimate Custard, what flavors would you include? Are there any particular creams, vanillas, or accents you’d swap in?
Also, I’d love to hear more about the flavors you’re not keen on—why don’t they work for you? Maybe we can brainstorm some alternatives or figure out a middle ground.
The clock is ticking before the site goes offline, so if you’ve got some ideas, now’s the perfect time to throw them into the mix. Let’s make this a custard we can all be proud of!
It was Prime that inspired me to try and make a custard. It is the best custard I have tried so far and the only commercial juice I will go out of my way for to buy.
Having created an almost 1 to 1 clone of it, for me at least, is a massive win.
