I just got into my email after a few months and I discovered alot of posts for this flavor ban and that September 3rd was deadline to sign a petition. Of course I’m about 3 days too late. And what does this mean for diy? I apologize if this is an old topic or I couldn’t find it at least…ive looked…but im getting rude answers on elr or half answers or none at all…
Pretty much no effect on DIY as flavours are used in many different food applications and still should be freely available same with PG and VG - the more serious aspect of the BS happening in Canada is the reduced nic strength
From Canada as well, Really no effect for the flavor ban in Canada. The government is trying to ban the flavors that we buy but good luck to them as the flavors or used for many things. The only thing that will effect DIY in Canada is the maximum amount of nicotine we can purchase is 20 mg down from the 60 mg max.

Thank you, I usually just lurk.

No worries missing the petition doesn’t stop DIY. Flavor concentrates are still available, and DIY mixing isn’t banned. Most bans target finished commercial nicotine products, not the ingredients used for personal mixing.
