How often do YOU end up with flavors, and forgot which recipe they were for?

Alright peeps, it’s TIME to come clean. I’m pretty sure that @muth MAY have mentioned this before, and I KNOW I’ve heard it TIME and TIME again, from COUNTLESS people.

“I added flavors to my shopping list, and eventually got them all, but then, I forgot which recipes they were for” …

Sound familiar ?? I know I’ve done it.

Have you ever bought flavors, received them, and forgot which recipe they were for ?

  • Yes, ALL the time
  • Yes, Occasionally
  • Nope, never happened to me

I’m always doing this. I save the recipe to a list of recipes that I really want to mix which is called “Next Mixing Session” to never be seen again because the list has become so bloody long and I forget about the recipe, If I’m really lucky I might come across it or see the flavour and remember what I bought it for but there’s so many nice looking recipes that I want to make and gets saved to the list that I never get round to mixing the one I bought the flavour for :man_facepalming:t2:

Yeah, hehe, I get the LONG list thing @JimmyLee.

About 75% to 25%, that’s what I’m seeing in all of these polls.

SD, I swear you’re looking through my bloody window. :joy:

I’ve got loads of unopened flavours sitting there, all bought with a very specific recipe in mind. Apparently the recipe was specific enough to justify the purchase, but not important enough for my brain to retain.

Then I find another recipe, order the missing flavours, and discover I already own FIVE unopened bottles of one of them.

Five. At that point I’m not stocking a mixing cupboard. I’m setting up a distribution centre.

The bottles arrive, the recipe disappears, and somewhere in the middle my bank account gets another little kicking.
