Hoho, DingDong, TimTam Aussie Vs US Treats

Haha. I am waiting to try it. I kinda want to wait for my son to come back 1-1/2 weeks from now. But I am dying to crack the seal.

Well that’s a hard choice! You better not crack that sample in your box of Aussie treats :grinning:

Oh yeah! I forgot about that. It will be here in time.

All this talk about Milo reminded me that I was trying to make a mix based on it. Never got quite close enough, made a couple of tweaks on the best one today.

Just got to remember to go back to it with that MF in there, I could just keep licking it up though it tastes so good.

When I got the VTA Milkshake base it just reminded me of milo

Ok, I just tried the Milo. I could have just spooned and spooned more of that on top of the milk. That stuff is great. Less sweet than I figured it was going to be, and I loved that about it. Going to have to pace myself with this can!

Glad you enjoyed it, hoping I hadn’t hyped it up too much.

This may not help you pace it out but it goes great guns on ice cream. Some fruit (banana is best), ice cream and milo

No, it is really good. A real guilty pleasure. My other package shows it has left Sydney. I am thinking it’s next stop is customs in Chicago, which is just a 3 hour drive from me. So I am happy to see the shipping is chugging along really fast.

I went looking to see what American candy I could find locally, turns out this shop is 20 minutes up the road.

What do I need?

And what the hell is marshmallow spread :wtf:

I will list the ones I really like:
Twinkies - definitely not good for you. Made of cake batter, old car tires, and used fast food grease. Eat no more than 12 at a time.

Flaming Hot Cheetos - while these are great, I really love the JalapeƱo Cheetos better. These are hot, but lack flavor. If they have the JalapeƱo, defintely.

Pop Tarts - Blueberry is my absolute fave. But if you like chocolate - S’mores is king. And the S’mores ones have the marshmallow fluff in them you asked about. I love them toasted crispy, where the icing just starts to develop little brown edges. Probably just to the point carcinogens develop from burnt sugar

A&W Root Beer - pour it over vanilla bean ice cream. Bury face.

Reeses PB Cups - by the handfuls!

M&M PB - where’s my shovel

Nerds, Jolly Ranchers - Fuck yeah. Two of my childhood faves!!! Two candies I could eat 24/7.

Baby Ruth - If you like turtle candies - pecans and caramel, covered in milk chocolate… Baby Ruth plays off of that but changes the nuts to peanuts and adds nougat. So, so good.

If you can imagine a marshmallow in a molten lava flow kind of gelatinous goo… there ya go. Like if you pinched a marshmallow, and held it in the air, within 2 minutes the marshmallow is touching the floor. You want to make a sweet treat that droops to the floor when held horizontal - use this instead of sugar. Warning- do NOT get this on your skin, utensils, mixing bowls, silverware. It is like trying to scrape gum off the sidewalk.

Are these a box good? Only have a whole box of 6x104g for $15??

I’m gonna double up on some of those you mentioned above, went up and not some ALL!

The prices are a bit steep. Not sure what you normally buy for $15, but for $15 USD we can buy like 3 boxes that size.

I haven’t eaten much marshmallow fluff, but I remember a time I put some on shortbread cookies when I was a kid. I used dad’s blow torch and lit the marshmallow on fire and blew them out just as they turned black. Again, turning the sugars into a carcinogen lol. Another thing I did was dip a skewer into the jar, toast it over an open flame, re-dip, retoast, repeat as many times as you want. It’s like a multi-layer toasted marshmallow on a stick.

I just thpught of something…
Sprinkle each layer with Milo and graham cracker crumbs. S’mores on a stick.

It’s funny, as kids (most of us) used to burn up the cancer sugar all day long, NOW, ā€œYou’re using FW Yellow Cakeā€ ??? !!!

I spent 30 years smoking cyonide, pesticides, and countless other carcinogenic chemicals in analogs. Having one or two bad ones in my juice doesn’t scare me a bit.
