Well, my shipment made it to Indianapolis yesterday (75 miles from me) and the status switched to “On hold”. So I called DHL to see what that meant and they said that is simply because it arrived there after the delivery truck to my area had left. He said it should be delivered today.

But so far today it still says “On hold”. The estimated delivery date is Monday. If my package, which went halfway around the world to within 75 miles of my home in 2 days, takes another 5 days to get the last 75 miles… I’m stabbin someone.

The Baby Ruth and Butterfinger is a bit of a shame. But just pass on all that. You really aren’t missing much.

Just as I was posting that DHL messaged me. They are delivering today! Me so happy. Current hunger level - starving. DHL doesn’t usually deliver to me til late in the day. So now my anxious meter is pegging the needle.

I used to drive 75+ miles each way to work on I-70. Those DHL drivers really don’t fuck around.

Well it appears you have bought them out of everything!

I don’t know man. I have never tried those Peanut Butter Twinkies. But dammit… I want to. The cereal is all sold out or I would say try those Churros. My son loves them. I guess grab whatever looks good to you. I don’t think you had S’mores Pop Tarts on your original list. If you like that Marshmallow fluff, and you like chocolate, grab em. They are gooey, sticky, chocolately goodness.

Those bastards didn’t they know I was coming, I’ll go the Pop Tarts they weren’t at the supermarket.

The slice that I made with that marshmallow fluff was a hit the nurses had scoffed it all before smoko. It worked really well, lucky I’ve got another jar and 2 in that order. More slice.

I just told my friend about you making that choco slice. She said it sounds yummy. So now I have to try to make it for her.

I actually wrote out the recipe as I was going, something told me it was going to be good.
The fruit was the kicker, just like in a great mix you need contrasting flavours and the fruit broke up the sweetness.

Yeah, the strawberries on that are genius. It reminded me of a website here called Shari’s Berries. They sell all kinds of strawberry creations.

The hardest part was spreading the marshmallow, wasn’t sure if it should be nuked, think I’ll try hot water. Got any tips?

I’ve gotta bake again, there’s another morning tea today, damn insomnia been up since midnight and don’t think I’ll sleep. So baking at 0230

Yeah, sitting the jar in hot water will help.

If you don’t have one of those “cake frosting squeeze bag” thingies, you can always stuff some in a ziplock bag, snip the corner of the bag, and squeeze it on that way.

Nuking the fluff will probably result in a marshmallow explosion in the micro. No idea though? Not sure I’d try that, but just in case, have a video camera ready. I gotta see that!
