Hoho, DingDong, TimTam Aussie Vs US Treats

I will give you guys my thoughts on things as I try them. But the video I want to make of my son won’t be recorded til after I get him back on the 4th. So I have to save half of this stuff for him to try.

I was watching some vids yesterday and saw this

That looks tasty. I love avocado!

Used to have it with peanut butter on a sandwich as a kid. Use instead of jelly or jam.
Also it takes chocolate fudge to a whole other level. Used in place of sugar - or at least part of the sugar. I don’t have a specific recipe - my ex used to make it a lot.

I totally forgot about PB and Marshmallow toast! Yeah, that is so so good. Break up a Hershey bar on top and toast in oven.

I also just remembered my aunt made this dessert one time on a whim. She used graham crackers for the crust, then layered in melted milk chocolate, then marshmallow cream, cook n serve chocolate pudding, covered by cool whip with crumbled chocolate covered graham crackers on top.

Damn dude, I just gained 7 lbs reading that!

Try it. You can just layer all that shit in, then chill. It is soooo good.

I have no doubt about it. And so is a fat ribeye steak covered in lump crab, melted butter and cheese sauce with a side of lobster bisque and a Guinness. I’m just working hard at decreasing the frequency of indulgences. Sixty pounds lost in the last 2 years and I ain’t fiddina put it back on.

Oh, you are on that Keto diet! Yeah, I am trying that myself. Meat, cheese, fat, how can you go wrong?

I am indulging in this little experiment for scientific purposes

Not Keto. My endocrine system revolts without carbs.

I do intermittent fasting. I did backslide from that for a few months and put 10 lbs back on, but I’m on it again for about 3 weeks and lost 4 of the 10 already.

My eating window is from 1pm to 7pm. Nothing outside of those hours except coffee, water and the few Rum and Coke Zero I have some evenings. Most days it’s fairly easy.

Been doing that myself. I don’t eat til the afternoon, then I eat again around 7 or 8. Not any kind of plan. Just been getting too damn lazy in the morning to get up and cook lol.

I had thought about baking a similar recipe when I get that marshmallow shit.

So it can go in the oven?

That was a no-bake dessert. The only think cooked in the oven was the graham crust. Butter, little brown sugar, graham crackers.

Then the chocolate pudding was cooked on the stovetop.

Then assemble.

I have never had anything with baked marshmallow fluff. That is unless it was used in place of sugar. But just layering it and baking? I am sure someone has. Probably melts and gets runny though.

That makes more sense.
Still Sounds yummy and may need to make it Aussie style with an ANZAC Biscuit crumble on the bottom.
Link for these wonders if you’ve never seen before?

Oh hell. Add BanaNanANas tooOo! Mix Milo in with the marshmallow creme. Lots of options here, but that Oatmeal cookie looking crust would be sweet.

First world problems!

I’m keeping my eyes open on this thread. If you guys concoct anything that I have the flavors for, well let the mixing begin!

Oh yeah. You could really church this up with a 1cm thick layer of dry milo between two layers of toasted marshmallow creme.

ANZAC Biscuit Crumble
Melted milk chocolate
Chocolate pudding
Marshmallow cream (toast top)
1cm layer Milo
Marshmallow cream (toast top)
Bananas (flambé with rum)
Whipped Cream
Crumbled ANZAC Biscuit crumbs

Oh yum.

It varies here too, depending on where you go. Never had the chocolate ones.
