The San Dynasty Pod Kit immediately stands out thanks to its bold, culture-inspired design. Gerobak and Orca Vape have leaned heavily into San Dynasty motifs, blending traditional Eastern artwork with a modern pod device form factor. The result is a device that feels more like a statement piece than a standard pod kit.
The body is compact and ergonomic, with smooth edges that sit comfortably in the hand while remaining pocket-friendly. The detailed artwork is crisp and well-finished, giving the device a premium feel without looking overdone. Despite the visual flair, the overall design stays practical—controls are minimal, and everything feels clean and uncluttered.
The San Dynasty balances bold visual design with practical everyday features. Alongside the detailed San Dynasty–inspired artwork, the device includes a removable anodized aluminium battery door, giving access to the internal, 14500 battery.
The battery door is held firmly in place by strong magnets, ensuring it stays secure during use while still being easy to remove when needed. Inside the battery bay, clear battery orientation markings are printed internally.
On one side of the device you’ll find an airflow control tab, allowing you to fine-tune the draw to your preference. Adjustment is smooth and precise, with just the right amount of resistance to prevent accidental movement.
On the opposite side sits an integrated 0.42-inch OLED display, paired with a single function button. The screen is clear and easy to read, showing essential information at a glance, while the one-button layout keeps operation simple and intuitive.
Meanwhile, the USB Type-C charging port is located on the bottom of the device. While bottom-mounted charging isn’t everyone’s preference, it keeps the overall design clean and allows the sides to remain uncluttered.
Pods
The San Dynasty includes two refillable pods, covering a nice range of vaping styles straight out of the box.
- 0.8Ω pod – Ideal for a smoother, slightly tighter draw, well suited to MTL or restricted MTL vaping with a focus on flavour and efficiency.
- 0.6Ω pod – Offers a warmer vape with increased vapour production, leaning more toward a restricted direct lung experience.
The pods come with three different 510 drip tip options. A clear drip tip, An anodized aluminium engraved tip and filter tips to mimic that cigarette feel.
The pods feature a square-shaped design that complements the aesthetics of the device and fit snugly into place, secured by strong magnets. Once installed, there’s no movement or rattle.
Refilling is simple thanks to an easy-to-open pull tab that reveals a decent-sized fill port, making the process quick and mess-free.

Additionally, a pair of the 14500 external batteries can be bought for this kit. The battery capacity is 1000 mAh giving you a decent power capacity for extended use on the go.

Performance
In use, the San Dynasty delivers a consistently smooth and reliable vape. Both included pods perform well, with the 0.8 Ω pod providing a tighter, more traditional MTL-style draw that excels with nic salts and higher-PG e-liquids. Flavour is clean and well-defined, with a cooler, more controlled vape that has a nice throat hit.
The 0.6 Ω pod steps things up with a warmer vape and increased vapour production, leaning toward a restricted direct lung experience. Airflow adjustment makes a noticeable difference here, allowing you to fine-tune the draw to your preference without turbulence or whistle. This pod provides decent vapour production.
Wicking keeps up well across both pods, handling chain vaping without dry hits or flooding. Power delivery feels consistent, and the device responds quickly when firing. Overall, performance is dependable and well-rounded, making the San Dynasty an easy daily carry whether you prefer a tighter or slightly airier draw.
The user interface is refreshingly simple, with no complicated button sequences to learn. It operates purely in wattage mode, keeping things straightforward and fuss-free. Adjustments are quick and intuitive, the screen is easy to view during use out in the daylight.
The auto-draw function works flawlessly, firing instantly with each inhale. Throughout testing, performance remained consistent, and importantly, I experienced no leaks, even with extended use and refilling.
