I have had my latest toy for a few days now - the Aegis Legend, my other two mods were older and didn’t have the bypass feature on them.
Overall how safe is bypass to use, am using it with a .28 coil (sorry I can’t remember what type)with a couple of Samsung 25r’s.
Perfectly safe, or better stated as safe as any other mode. The bypass is post regulator so all your safety features stay intact.

You’re dead on with that. It’s good to have a solid respect for mech mods. The only safety feature is you.
Yep. But you made a great choice with the 25r’s. They’re solid performers and rated for 30a, so it ought to be a sweet combo! 
It really is a great combo, I just wish I bought it sooner.
I’ve hit 0.5 ohm on a bypass mode before, it’s just a real strong hit, 0.2 should be perfect 
It’s first time I’ve used bypass mode and it seems very powerful to me.
