Dude, all I wanted was for my recipe to be less dry. That’s it.
There is a taste I am after. I got that taste in this recipe, now I have to figure out how to make it less dry without changing it (much).
Apparently, y’all think I have a mess of a recipe but it’s what I like.
Yep, I think your right. I made a new batch and left out the biscuit, which completely fixed the dryness but now it’s a different recipe. I like it and will keep vaping it but I still want to do something with the “biscuit” taste. Maybe acytal pyrazine… Anywho, I forgot to use the Sweet coconut so I’ll add some and see how it goes.

Were you just chasing a sprinkling of fairy dust. 
What I find the most annoying is when a mix is just so close to what I want but just needs that extra oomph or something to get it there and over the line. Most often it is such a simple thing that my little brain couldn’t find.
Still amazes me how one minor change can completely and drastically change the end result of the mix.

Right on bro. and I appreciate you trying to figure out what I was after but unfortunately, I don’t know. LOL. I mean, I do know but I don’t know how to describe it. I call it the Uhura taste. I adapted a recipe that @TorturedZen made a couple of years [?] ago called Uhura’s Kiss. I called mine Uhura’s reach around and now I want to make a new one but in the same spirit.
As for a profile I guess I could say Raspberries and cream.

Not sure what happened to yours… but you could just use the flavors he has, and then try out your raspberry {berries} but if you dont have his flavors… yeah…
I really can not give you much advice, Dan… the only company I work and play with is Flavorah and I know how those flavors will flow.
You have a few flavors here that he does not have… vise versa… and need to remember, each flavor has bits in it, or well parts… that makeup and create that single flavor… and how flavors react with each other really does matter.
I don’t know if you have done solos on your flavors, but the best thing I can tell you is that I hope you are having fun playing around with the idea. You might want to try adding in your raspberries, if you know how much of the raspberry to add… or if you want 2 different kinds… all different kinds of ways to toy with his recipe idea. 
so keep at it and maybe you will make a major breakthrough 
maybe it might solve the dry problem. Who knows till you mix it completely

It is very close to the way I want it but it’s too… I’m not sure because I am not very familiar with FLV so I can’t be sure where the issue is. My guess is that the Strawberry is too high and maybe the Candy Roll too.

Even then, once steeped… eh 3 days… It’s a watery berry with some juicy mouthfeel

Depends on how you are using it. Fairly strong and will make itself known with a steep. For juicy wet enhancer 0.3 or lower. As one of the main notes 0.5-1.

I am looking for a Strawberry/Watermelon hard candy with the strawberry up front. I haven’t vaped a strawberry vape in quite some time and thought I ought to try it again. I don’t normally use sweeteners but I think this one might need it.

Both… can be used for shake n vape… but really… 3 days and most fruits are locked in…
Layering the fruits the way I did the second time… will just be a touch more smooth.

I have to admit that I am glad I started using Flv. again but it’s like learning all over again, where one drop can change the whole thing. Usually, I am not as precise because I didn’t need to be and I am lazy. Any way, I also very much enjoy the short steep time.
If I understand correctly FLV is specifically for vaping, I wonder if that is the difference when it comes to steep time.
Anyway, I was looking through Flv’s sight and came across a deal they have where they sell a “profile” of flavors for 70 dollars. When I added it up it is quite the savings!!! I get that bundle when I am ready to grab that really strong strawberry (can’t remember the name). I’m babbling now…

This is why I mix without nic… and with my chart and notes… it’s not too hard, as I have already done so many solo taste testings, and knowing how a flavor at “X” amount will work with a given taste/recipe/idea…

Someone suggested adding all the sweeteners to my flavor stash, to find more search results to use for Ideas. Lets see how that works out.
